DGI-Byen is a quite amazing aquatic center. First of all for its swimming pool. A beautiful and rather original pool... because to do your laps you turn in a circle! Indeed, the pool is circular. Be careful, we do not swim in all directions. To avoid accidents, the swimming direction is compulsory and it changes every Monday! On Tuesday and Thursday evening, a wellness evening. Subdued light atmosphere and amplified water noise! Other activities await you: restaurant, sauna, bowling with 16 lanes in the center of town. Ideal for families.

Go on an adventure and sail the waters of the fjord. It's easy! You can book a boat for up to 8 people. Some of them have a nice wooden table in the middle, ideal for a picnic or a drink on the Limfjord. The boat is very easy to handle and does not require a licence to operate (you just need to be over 18). Small electric boats are available for a romantic trip for two. The indoor ice rink complements the outdoor ice rink, which is open from December and lasts all winter. A popular activity and very suitable for Danish winters. A great opportunity to have fun if it's a rainy day. Skate rental and sharpening on site. Children can learn to skate gently with a penguin as an instructor. Some evenings, it turns into an ice disco with disco music and coloured lights. On site: ice hockey, curling, figure skating. Ice-cafe on the^1st floor. So get your skates on!

Gudenå has its source near Tørring, 65 m above sea level. It is the longest coastal river, running 158 km from near Vejle to the Kattegat and its mouth in Randers Fjord. Every year a canoe and kayak race is organized during the^second weekend of September. A course of 120 km. Around Silkeborg, the river has the appearance of a quiet river where it is good to canoe. You can rent canoes, kayaks and small motor boats. The center also organizes excursions to visit the area on the water.

GreenKayaks are double kayaks, stable and easy to handle, no previous experience is required. Since you are paddling on the water, your pants may get wet, so take appropriate clothing! Certified instructors will greet you and guide you through your trip on the canal. It's called Green, because this idea comes from an environmental NGO. Along the way, you will collect floating waste on the water which will then be weighed and recorded. A nice way to have fun while acting for the planet!

CPH-Ø1 is a parkingpel. What's that? A small island consisting of a 20^m2 wooden platform with a lime tree at its center, which can be reached by kayak or GoBoat. Unique today, it will soon be accompanied by a large number of other islands - each built to host a specific activity, but all floating, with saunas, cafés, gardens or myticultural farms and so on. It's a fun (and original) way to play Robinson Crusoe, while taking a break in the waters of Copenhagen Harbour!

During the summer, the vessel Dragin KG 212 takes you to the famous bird cliffs north of Klaksvík and north of Kunoyarnakk. On board, you will discover the life of the sailors. And you will be served soup and coffee. The boat can also be booked for deep-sea fishing. Dragin is primarily a training ship, but the general public has the opportunity to enjoy it too. This project of saving a historical sailing ship goes back 25 years. This boat can be taken on deep-sea voyages to Scotland, Iceland or Norway.

If you have the sea legs and heart of a Viking, then welcome aboard this magnificent sailing ship. The very friendly Captain Birgir owns a beautiful schooner, moored in Tórshavn harbour: Norðlýsið or "Nordic light". She was built in the shipyards in 1945. This kind-hearted sailor organizes sea trips, shark fishing and even dinners in the ship's hold. The authentic Faroese atmosphere and delicious fish caught during the day await you on board.

On board high-speed motorboats, with music blasting from the on-board waterproof speakers, you will discover the spectacular caves of Nólsoy, the island south of Torshavn. The round trip from Gamlaraett to Hestur Island includes the tour of the island. Slowly, you get as close as possible to the birds under the cliff, Loftið, whose vertical wall is about 300 meters long. If time permits, you can also navigate through the caves, Álvagjógv and Klaemintsgjógv. You can also ask for a tailor-made tour.

If you want to try diving, the Faro Diving program is for you. It's easy and accessible, and it doesn't take long. Before the dive, the instructor will review the basics of diving: equipment, safety, signs... When you are ready, the instructor will lead you into the underwater world. Bubble around in the islands' cavities, a fantastic experience! You will be able to pass your first level, and for the more experienced, explore underwater caves at a depth of more than 30 meters.

Discovering Bornholm Island from the sea is great! Don't hesitate to rent a boat. Since 1990 Mikael Hesthavens has specialised in fishing and touring boats. Alone or in a group, share a moment on the water like a real islander. Are you a beginner? No problem, rent a small, ultra stable, manually steered boat with a 20 HP motor. You don't have the sea legs? Hesthavens also offers motorbike rentals by the day. For this, count 400 DKK per day. Only one condition: you must have a motorbike licence.

In a friendly and family environment, access this 27-hole course inspired by the most beautiful Scottish links. On one side the compact 9-hole course, on the other side a particularly challenging 18-hole course with its numerous water hazards. On the ^6th and ^14th holes, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. The wind and the numerous slopes will make your attacks on the greens more difficult, but will make your visit to this golf course a memorable experience for both experienced players and beginners.

If you like adventure, Actionboat Føroyar is a great option for you. The company organizes sea trips aboard zodiacs (6 people on board). You'll sail along the west coast of Suðuroy, discovering superb caves and sea stacks.

Copenhagen has very few natural beaches. That's why, in Østerbro, a district in full development, a bathing beach was created 12 years ago. A magnificent bathing area of 4,000 m² identifiable with the chimneys of the power plant: the small beach of blond sand is flanked by a long wooden pier of 130 m long, where you can rest on deckchairs overlooking the calm waters.
