CAN BARRIS
Read moreOpened since 1949, Can Barris has enjoyed a beautiful reputation for three generations now: you are here in the snail's temple! In fact, the establishment proposes its speciality of cargols "a la llauna" (a snail's snail) presented in the form of a dish loaded with gastéropodes (smaller than the Bourgogne snails) cooked in a delicious sauce. There are many other à la carte proposals, all very typical of Catalan cuisine in the interior, ranging from salads to carns, but also some fish preparations. Let's add that desserts have nothing to do with the rest of the menu. Pleasant terrace and family atmosphere. An experience that is worth a detour.
EL TRULL
Read moreIn a beautiful old building, this trull, an oil mill, exposed to the entrance, is in fact a gourmet restaurant created in 1968, offering a méditéranéenne kitchen whose card varies depending on the season. Priority is given to the quality and freshness of the products, especially for fish and seafood products from Auctions, Port de la Selva, Palamos and Blanes. Very beautiful décor and stylish service to taste, for example, little in crab, accompanied by a muslin of urchins, paupiettes of sole and salmon served with a saffron and a pick of zucchini. And in dessert, a blood orange sherbet or a lemon foam lined with small strawberries. A very good location near the centre of Lloret.
RESTAURANT PALAU LO MIRADOR
Read moreWhy refuse to recover in what was the residence of the counties of Barcelona in the thirteenth century? Located in the old stables of the palace, this restaurant first offers a beautiful space, the old stables which, under their vaults, guarantee a dive in the past. Guesthouse pleasures will be up to the framework. The dishes are concocted from the best products in the region: fresh fish from Roses, fruit and vegetables from Empordà, Girone calf and artisanal pastries from the city. When you enter, you can be tempted by a soup of fish and fruit, pastis perfumed or by a milkboard of foie gras accompanied by a jam of Garnatxa's figment and jelly of wine. Then choose a Girone beef filet and a green asparagus roll of ham. And end up with a rose chocolate soup. The menu of the day makes its discovery more accessible.
ES TAP NOU
Read moreEs Tap Nou is a well known address for locals, where you can go at any time of the day for a short and easy repair stopover! Market gardeners before being restaurateurs, the owners of the place run a shop selling fresh local fruit and vegetables to which they have added a volley of tables on the terrace, offering salads as copious as they are very good, solid toast (goat's cheese in particular!), but also superb batidos (juices) of various fruits (on the slate, the juice of the day). Everything is good, healthy, and not expensive!
CASA CLAUDIO
Read moreFor its decoration, this restaurant displays white, delicate for the dining room, in lace form for the awning which houses the outdoor terrace, and for the interior terrace. A delicate impression complemented by a fine light or a roof roof, white also, to filter light. This concern for refinement is found on the plates, already in their presentation, since Chief Claudio Vidal gives him special care: bags for the assortment of entries, small bouquet of flowers on certain dishes and original visual creations for desserts… Flavours are also available, with special menus for the season and market. You may taste his little pies lined with mushrooms or his fish tempura, or why not one of his creations, the bluefin tuna tartar, accompanied by her tan, a garlic soup. In dessert, you can crack without problems for one of the coolers creations or textured. Neither the torta del Casar nor the excellent wines of Ribera del Guadiana will be forgotten. At the entrance, a more bodega space allows for the tapeo.
EL SOLITARIO

Be sure of the quality of the meat, they all come from its own finca, to be tasted as cordero (lamb), chuletón (calf coast), cochinillo (milk pig), all has la. There will be zorongollo, but also orange salads. If you're rather fish, cod aux onions are waiting for you. And in dessert, make a spell to the cheese pie, home made. LAS BARANDAS
Read moreLocated on the Plaza de España, this white restaurant, from walls to the bar, is very close to the white of the city. And this will not be his only way to pay homage since you can taste the great classics like local oils or Iberian ham, certified DO of the Dehesa D, a taste for maintaining local traditions that Manolo, the boss of the restaurant, transmitted to these sons Manuel and Fernando, who work with him. Let yourself be tempted by the carpaccio of ham, accompanied by cheese and lamelles of foie gras, the façon way (filled with sausage) or by the sheep stew to the pepper of Vera. If you choose a solomillo (net) in crust, you will be asked to put a word on the crust before cooking, depending on the home tradition. In dessert, you will have the choice between local tradition, hojaldre de, or delicious sorbets or fresh cheese, accompanied by membrillo (quince paste) and nuts. To combine taste and eyes, the dining room can see Señora Nuestra church in Los Angeles. The hotel also has a terrace and a bar area where you can indulge in.

With a specialty, cerdo carrillada (pork cheek), but also will obtain salmorejos or toros rabos with the certainty of products from the day market. Enjoy everything in the restaurant, but also in the barra, with menus of the day (in week) and a zone of tapeo, where you particularly appreciate the anchovies of the lawyers.
TORRES GASTROBAR
Read moreA gastrobar in due form, serving inventive dishes in mini format: caramelized liver tapa with applesauce, excellent Kobe beef burger, eggplant roll with piquillo cream, marinated sardine with grapefruit vinaigrette... And our favourite: the squid sandwich! All this can be enjoyed around the bar in a modern bistro setting, with old black and white photos, and on the slate, the list of tapas and wines available by the glass. A must stop on the tapas route in Logroño.
RESTAURANTE A MOA
Read moreNo tourists or pilgrims here, but a local clientele who appreciate the excellent cuisine of this restaurant. The ground floor functions as a bar, where you can have a drink with some tapas. You will probably notice a large steaming pot of bean soup: help yourself, it's on the house! The restaurant is located in the basement, in a beautiful modern and warm setting, which opens onto a charming garden. The à la carte menu serves creative cuisine, executed with brio. Reservation is necessary on weekends!
EL RINCÓN EXTREMEÑO
Read moreIn 2006, Martín, Extremeño himself, brought a little of his native land to open this grocery store, which also serves as a tasting point. Very well sourced, many products come from Jerez de los caballeros, near Badajoz, and will allow you to taste hams, chorizos, lomos and especially lomitos, one of the main products of the place. Or on the cheese side, the torta del casar, a sheep's cheese with a melting heart, and even the Canary Islands speciality, the guia flower, mixing cow's and sheep's milk and unique cheese using the thistle flower as a coagulant. It can be accompanied by a good selection of extreme wines such as Habla el silencio, a Trujillo wine, which sits in one of the corners of this warm shop or on the small terrace on the pretty square of La Concepción. Not to mention building a gourmet basket before leaving: jams, plasencia vinegar, vera pepper, etc.

Fish and shellfish are the main attraction: the tuna tataki is a classic of the house. But don't forget to try the carrillera simmered in red wine... Wine obviously plays a key role in the restaurant's offer: more than a hundred references are offered by the glass, in addition to a superb selection of bottled wines. One of our favourite addresses in Logroño!
COCINANDOS
Read moreCreative and rooted cuisine in this excellent Michelin-starred restaurant (the only one in the region). Juanjo Pérez and Yolanda León serve seasonal cuisine of great finesse, in a contemporary but not stuffy decor. The reception is very simple and everything is designed to make you feel at ease. The wine list is extensive, which you will discover simply by looking at the walls of the cellar. Excellent value for money for a restaurant of this category!
BORDA BERRI
Read moreHere you won't find pintxos at the counter: you have to make your choice on the slate and order from the waiters (if you manage to make your way to the bar!). This tiny tavern, one of the best in the whole city, is a must for its pintxos guisados, real little dishes simmered in sauce, such as the famous carrillera (pork) with red wine. Idiazábal's cheese risotto is also excellent, as is the pork rib kebab and ravioli filled with scampi or chipiron (depending on the season).
LA CUCHARA DE SAN TELMO
Read moreOur favourite place to eat tapas in the Parte Vieja! Unfortunately, it is no longer a secret for anyone, so you'll have to be patient to place your order, as the place is tiny and always full to bursting! The slate on the wall leaves you dreaming: foie gras pan-fried à la plancha and its apple compote, carrillera (beef) simmered in red wine, suckling pig roasted in beer, grilled octopus in tximitxurri sauce... served as pintxos at the counter, or raciones to share at tables outside. Divine!

EL ESPEJO
Read moreIts azulejo-clad walls give it an air of another time, as if you were entering the Madrid of another time... The large windows and a few mirrors here and there make the place bright. The warm and friendly welcome doesn't spoil anything. In the restaurant, you can dine on the great classics of Madrid cuisine, or enjoy a coffee with a pastry or tapas in the brasserie. Gran Café El Espejo, with its Art Deco terrace and kiosk on the Paseo de Recoletos, has no competition. Not to be missed!
SA COVA
Read moreA natural cave in the heart of the old town. It is here that you will find this little gem of a French bistro. If the owner Nicolas is a fine sommelier who has worked in excellent addresses in Paris and New York, "French" cannot sum up the subtlety of the cuisine served here. The new chef, Begoña Arizmendi, is skilfully at work in her open kitchen, combining skills from the four corners of the world with ingredients full of freshness: ceviche, turbot meunière, duck confit... The wine pairing is impeccable.
LA RAMPA
Read moreThe best address for lunch in the old port of San Sebastián, in a very picturesque setting, a stone's throw from the Aquarium. When the weather is fine, this is the perfect place to share raciones of grilled sardines, fresh anchovies and txopitos (fried cuttlefish) on the terrace, all accompanied by a bottle of txakoli. With the first freshness, we will opt for the very tasty fish soup. The restaurant also offers fish and seafood, but the note will obviously be a little saltier!
A PULPERIA DO LUIS

It is, without a doubt, one of the best value for money in the city, and one of its best tables!

Inaugurated in 1998 in the Playa de Atxabiribil, El Peñón has three terraces on different levels. With its sublime view of the ocean, it is a privileged spot to drink a cocktail at sunset time. The restaurant's à la carte menu: tuna tataki, salmon tartar and sautéed chipirons are a tasty option. Also nice salads and several dishes for children!

Here you can discover an innovative cuisine, combining local products with avant-garde techniques. A la carte, don't miss the unmissable huevos carbonizados (literally, "charred eggs") and the exquisite carrillera (simmered beef cheek). CASA MONTAÑA
Read moreLocated in the heart of Cabanyal, this is a reference to Valencia. Founded in 1836, this former bodega has preserved the rustic charm of its origins, when the house still sells wine per litre to local residents. Today, there are many families, locals, politicians and well-informed tourists. Behind its modernist façade, Casa Montaña has several rooms. The restoration of the place deserves special mention, with superb wooden shelves, ceramics and wine drums on all sides. After ordering wine (an impossible choice since the house has more than 1 000 references) on the good advice of the staff, it left for a parade of traditional flavours: Anchois anchovy (Cantabria), cod chunks and pine pignons, Valencian clóchina (local variety of mussels), bellota ham cut at the time of serving, base beef fillet, patatas bravas developed with potatoes all right from the village of Guadalaviar…

Pleasant step in an intimate setting.

Toni's cheerful welcome makes for a really friendly atmosphere. Recipes are based on fresh local produce, such as grilled mussels, eggplants or squid stuffed with Menorcan-style stuffing. Some products are also imported from Galicia, such as oysters and sautéed lobster. Typical dishes include calderetes and paellas. Excellent desserts.
VICTOR
Read moreThis is the place to come if you want to discover the taste memory of Tossa, as this restaurant pays homage to it with its flagship dishes such as the Cim i Tomba: a casserole where fish (monkfish, turbot, cod or skate), onions, sliced potatoes, peppers, tomatoes and garlic are marinated and simmered, all accompanied by aioli. You can also enjoy squid dumplings with Tossa sauce or a very tasty rice casserole in a large room or a small terrace. Very attentive service.
LA ZORRA
Read moreOn the Passeig Marítim (but unfortunately, without the view of the sea), an excellent address to discover the cuisine of "Gipsy Chef", a nice and media-friendly chef known for his inventive and a little bit scoundrel! Revisiting the traditional paella, Gipsy Chef delivers several surprising and very tasty versions, in a 100% Mediterranean decor. Our favorite: the one garnished with black botifarra, diced apples and burrata! Equally original is the paella with black scallops and calamari, or the black rice with mussels and poached egg!
BODEGA DONOSTIARRA
Read moreJust a stone's throw from the Kursaal, this cheerful tavern from 1928 never fails to fill up! During the film festival, it is even one of the favourite places for journalists. In addition to its excellent daily menu and brasa specialities (octopus skewers, black pudding with peppers, hake), the place is famous for its excellent pintxos. At the counter, try the classic Gilda or the octopus with vinaigrette. Above all, don't leave without tasting the excellent tortilla (prepared on the spot) and the kompleto sandwich made with tuna, Ibarra peppers and anchovies.
LA BUGA DEL LOBO

In short, the list of delights is endless. Right next door, a cultural space shows films and organizes exhibitions all year round, ask for information at La Buga.

CRANC PELUT DE MENORCA
Read moreIt is often confused with Es Cranc, but they are two different restaurants although they are the same property. Cranc Pelut is located at the entrance to Fornells, at the beginning of the port. If Es Cranc is the specialist in caldereta, Cranc Pelut is one of the best places in Menorca to eat paella. A word of advice: don't take an appetizer, the paella for two is absolutely gigantic (you can eat it for four without any problem). The kindness of the waiters and the pretty view of the port do the rest. An excellent address.
RESTAURANTE DURAN
Read moreA reference point for Catalan cuisine for three generations, its initiator was Lluís Duran Camps in the 1950s, it offers a varied menu and a delicious menu and is also part of the gastronomic collective "La Cuina del Vent" which highlights products from the region. We recommend the excellent soups or the sea bream with salt. All served in a room decorated with ceramics and glass chandeliers, with beautiful painted wooden chairs. Salvador Dalí was a regular here, as evidenced by his little corner and his personal bodega, Ca la Teta.
RESTAURANTE MIRADOR DE LA PEÑA
Read moreThe road climbs and winds up to the highest point to arrive at this magnificent site and restaurant! Before your eyes, a magical panorama overlooking the Roques de Salmor, and all the beaches of El Golfo (as seen from an airplane!), and the beautiful stone building with its gigantic glass roofs to enjoy the view. Built in 1989 by César Manrique, the famous artist and preserver of the island of Lanzarote, the restaurant has even been visited by Spain's majesties: Juan Carlos I and his wife Sofia. A venue for receptions, it's also one of the best tables on the island! Don't hesitate to take a seat on the terrace to make the most of the fresh air and magical view, while enjoying fine Mediterranean and Canarian cuisine using local and organic produce. On the menu: fried cabrit, local fish soup, stuffed chicken breast with mushroom sauce, pineapple garnished with langoustines, and desserts of Gofio mousse (a local specialty) with honey and toasted almonds. Don't forget to take a stroll along the path that starts here and will leave you with an unforgettable memory. You'll be right up there with the clouds!
TERRAZA O'CLOCK - GABINETE LITERARIO
Read moreThis excellent Canary and Mediterranean restaurant, situated on a beautiful square in the heart of the historic centre, has a successful map: cheese mix from here, carpaccio of bluefin tuna, salads, scrambled eggs with Iberian ham, seafood risotto, squid, shrimp… The place is also unique since it is a historic palace, a former theatre in Las Palmas, and the address has not forgotten its first cultural vocation since there are concerts and literary encounters. A magical address to discover absolutely!
BAR GAUCHO
Read moreThe Bar Gaucho is an authentic and ancient institution in Pamplona, whose counter is besieged by customers both in winter and summer! Its inventive pintxos have won numerous awards, both in the mix of flavors and in the presentation. Lovers of quietness, avoid this bar always full. Among the many combinations available(huevo trufado and tortilla in particular), don't miss the pintxo de foie, a classic of the house. More than just a pintxo bar, the Bar Gaucho is the soul of Pamplona.
LA CHATA
Read moreThe Chata is decorated with earthenware tiles, wooden beams where the hams are hung with posters of the bullfighting world. It's all about the change of scenery. Downstairs there is a dining room and upstairs there is a room to enjoy excellent sandwiches and traditional dishes at a very good price. The casseroles, served in a terracotta plate, of squid in their ink, white beans with cockles or stuffed peppers are succulent. A very good address in the Cava Baja, not just for tourists.
