ROOTED CAVES
Read moreThese are caves with stalactites and stalagmites, at least that's what we're announcing. The most remarkable, in fact, are these dame cables, such as void of steel; these are roots that have led their way into the stone in search of water; some explore a gap and emerge a few metres further, still in search of water. The show is really amazing. Beyond the cave, you can find yourself at the bottom of a close canyon almost Hollywood, so it looks artificial. Then discovered a dark cave that is explored with a lamp. It's a maze of passages that don't go without bumps. The site is, of course, frequented by Indonesians who picnic on Sunday. We do not escape the eternal rubbish.

KALI ADEM
Read moreVisit of the last lava casting of the 2006 Merapi, to put you chills in the back (you can enter the bunker where burnt burnt three people who thought refuge… in vain). The last lava leak ripped the pine-populated land of Kali Adem and englouti the houses, whose roofs you can no longer see.
Beautiful panoramas on the Merapi… when it is not covered with clouds.
