The Gilis are renowned for their superb seabed and diverse fauna. They are also nesting areas for turtles. Whether gray or green, these sea turtles are easy to spot. Don't forget to observe the rules essential to the respect and well-being of these wild animals. Whether on land or at sea (snorkeling or scuba diving), don't approach them closer than 3 meters, and never touch or chase them. Disturbing them would alter this fragile eco-system in the short or long term.
