The mill's renaissance began a few years ago with Bruno, who restored a hundred centuries-old olive trees and created a new impetus in the village. The Maison Durandeu is a pastry shop, a family confectionery since 1857. You might as well say that it is a local monument of delicacies! During her agronomy studies, Geneviève Auric had no intention of taking over the family farm. And yet, 19 years later, she does not regret her choice. With her partner Laurent Bouvin, she farms organically some forty hectares of lavender and lavandin, cereals and 1,142 olive trees to be precise. With their trees, the couple produces a blend of oil, pressed at the Bonaventure mill, which they produce in fruity green and fruity ripe. These nectars are sold at an affordable price and are of very good quality.

Les Comtes de Provence is a family history of more than 30 years of experience which has allowed us to elaborate jams and sweet products based on fruits of the Mediterranean basin and pure cane sugar, in a traditional way in cauldrons to optimize the taste. Jams, compotes, honeys, marmalades (as in Scotland) and a beautiful organic range (jams, compotes, honeys, fruits in syrup and candied fruits) are offered for sale in the shop as well as on the Internet. The weekly market of Forcalquier is one of the most famous markets of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages. Every Monday, it brings together several thousand people who come to enjoy the presence of 200 exhibitors. In the summer, it grows by 50 merchants. A real institution! On the stalls: fruits and vegetables, seafood, butchery, organic and natural products, local producers and craftsmen and artists (terracotta, fabrics ...) but also clothing, furniture, toys ... A meeting place not to be missed.

In the village of Montfuron, the Pirard family makes farmhouse goat cheese with respect for nature and the animals. The goats, of the Saanen or Alpine breeds, eat only hay and cereals, and graze when weather and season permit. They produce between 2 and 2.5 liters a day, and enjoy a long resting season in winter. Christiane has become a beekeeper and harvester, by passion, on the heights of Colmar-les-Alpes. It is better to call her to be sure to find her. On the spot you will have the choice between a sweet mountain honey with floral and fruity flavours, and a lavender honey, one of the jewels in the crown of the range produced on this territory, known for its power and its bouquet. Both are harvested in the hives of the valley, and are a testimony to the richness of a preserved environment.
