The church was built around 1670 and is considered the largest Baroque church in the Durance region. Dedicated to St. Nicholas of Myra, it was consecrated in 1686. The church has been listed as a historic monument since 1921. It is owned by the commune of Jausiers. The church of Saint-Nicolas-de-Myre is an important place of worship in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region. Visitors can admire its Baroque architecture and discover its rich history. It's an interesting place to visit for lovers of religious architecture and history.
