This promenade, in the heart of the city centre, extends the Place du Vigan, completely refurbished since 1999-2000. The national garden has thus found its old personality, with kiosks hosting traders, its children's carousel, ponds and fountain.

Built between 1630 and 1638, it offers a beautiful, richly decorated facade. Among the students are La Pérouse, Georges Pompidou and a young teacher, Jean Jaurès. Disused after 1970, it was restored and transformed into a media library at the current Lapérouse Secondary School in 1992. It is not open to the public.

This castle, which is famous in English, reveals a curiosity: on the first floor, built in the 1st century, the painted reply of the Supreme Council Hall of the Great masters of the order of Malta was painted. The author is Matteo of Aleccio, a great admirer of Michelangelo. The tables tell the large siege of 1565 during the battle against the Ottoman fleet. The order of Malta, a military and religious order, was born of the crusades. Its members were first called "Hospitals of Saint John".

Along the Tarn, this leisure base offers many sports opportunities. Football fields, bicross, tennis courts, large shaded playground for young people; you will only have an embarrassment of choice! If the heart tells you, it is also very tempting to take the tour, walking or running, of the small water plan inside it. But not to inconvenience fishermen! If you were a sports enthusiast in the room, admit that spending outdoors is just as nice, and much cheaper!
