Museum in Cordes-sur-Ciel dedicated to artistic creation and presenting an astonishing artistic movement.

The Maison du Grand Fauconnier houses a museum dedicated to 20th century artistic creation. It takes you on a journey in the footsteps of Yves Brayer, a figurative painter who settled here in 1940 and died in 1990. During his career, the artist created opera costumes and illustrated works by Rimbaud, Musset and Giono. His career was marked by the creation of the "Académie de Cordes", an astonishing artistic movement presented here thanks to the works of his artist friends.

Très beau musée avec une exposition permanente mais aussi actuellement une exposition temporaire pop art street art de Cobo, qui a accueilli l’artiste en personne lors des journées du patrimoine.
