What a great idea to discover The Hague and its surroundings in this restaurant tram in a historic tram. We board and disembark at Voorburg station a few cables from The Hague. The journey takes 2h30 with a maximum of 44 people on board. An atypical experience to book well in advance! The menu is presented on the website but report any allergies or preferences beforehand to avoid any unpleasant surprises. A really innovative concept that needs to be tested. Please note: the chef is not necessarily there during your trip.

Walter Benedict is the place to be! We come there for a vitaminized breakfast as well as for a charming lunch (salads, omelets, etc.), in the evening the menu honors brasserie dishes (burgers...). The decor is very pleasant with beautiful brick walls, vintage-style benches and plants everywhere. It is good to stand at the window and observe the passage of the passers-by on this popular artery. An address that we like to pamper throughout the day. It attracts a varied public!

If you're in the mood for Kyoto, Amstelveen is the place to go. This address, between a shopping center and a busy street, may seem unlikely. The restaurant is accessed via a small (Japanese) garden and pretty flagstones. The atmosphere is very successful and the audience includes many Japanese, which is always a good sign. The cuisine is super-fresh and the wood-panelled setting very warm. The sushi is excellent, but let us recommend all the dishes. Izakaya is the ideal address after a visit to the Cobra Museum.

A pleasant address not far from the Peace Palace, where you can eat quiches, mixed salads and pasta dishes, as well as soups and omelettes. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service friendly, often fast and efficient. You can hear a lot of French being spoken here, as the French embassy is just a stone's throw away. The establishment is a sure bet in the city, with a pleasant, bright decor and large windows. If you're lucky, you might even bump into Anton Corbijn, the god of made-in-NL photography, who has a regular habit here.

A superb restaurant opened a few years ago in the wonderful Industriegebouw, an architectural masterpiece from the post-war period, which has been rehabilitated after extensive work. If the decor is magnificent, the show is in the plate: a balanced and astonishing cuisine proposing new associations of flavours in phase with the seasons. Héroine will tickle your palate and your senses: tomato-rhubarb tartar, guinea fowl roll with carrot cream, lemon tart and jasmine mousse... A very photogenic address.

Oriole is one of the restaurants of The Grand hotel, on the edge of the red light district. The setting, a former town hall, is majestic. The atmosphere is very green, with a plethora of plants and a superb, inviting garden. The whole is both designer and photogenic. The menu is concise and was recently awarded a Bib gourmand. Produce is seasonal, with an emphasis on vegetables. Great attention is paid to presentation. During his recent state visit, the French president had lunch with Brigitte for her birthday.

Xiringuito is a fabulous beach restaurant inspired by Catalonia. The atmosphere is very pleasant. You can "lounger" or sit down at pleasant family tables. The extensive menu features local producers (yum, the bread from Menno's), and you can choose from inventive and succulent tapas. The burgers are excellent, as are the mixed salads, especially the one with goat's cheese. Save room for desserts, especially the peanut butter parfait. Piano and music evenings are organized.

Garoeda was one of the city's historic landmarks, opening its doors in 1949. Recently, it was taken over by the king of stoves, Ron Blauuw. He has transformed this slightly outdated classic into a warm, designer restaurant that's a must-see. Set over several floors, Garuda features a superb upstairs bar for lively evenings. But it's the bar within the bar that's the place to be. The menu is inventive and modern, while taking up the classics of this incredible cuisine. The cocktails are also excellent.

Located on a very romantic little square in Delft, this warm restaurant concocts typical Dutch cuisine (smoked fish, meat in sauce and potées). If some of the flavors can sometimes confuse our very French palates, you will nevertheless be conquered by the originality and the quality of the dishes. The decor is typical and the staff is very friendly, which does not spoil anything. A beautiful address of quality that we also appreciate for its well Dutch service combining nonchalance and humor. And because we eat well.

This golden inn is a superbly revisited city institution. The setting is historic, and its fabulous façade is a real draw. The inn offers quality brasserie dishes in a classy setting that always seems to be bustling. The design is very successful, combining classic elements with a zen-like modernity. In winter, the cosy atmosphere of the auberge is very pleasant. In summer, the terrace is always packed. If you get tired, you can extend the experience by staying overnight in the superb themed suites.

Pastanini is a top quality caterer. Here, in the heart of The Hague, you can enjoy sandwiches, various pasta dishes and bread like you can find in Italy! Very good address for an espresso of course. A good place for pasta and pizzas, not to mention the children who have their own menu. A classic of the city where it is good to pass. Why not succumb to one of the desserts or a cheese platter. An address filled with various temptations. The service is also efficient.

On Rotterdam's famous Witte de With, the street of thirst, Hamburg, a burger specialist, has been making its mark for several years. This address promotes "clean and decent" burgers, meaning good quality meat guaranteed without hormones and antibiotics. All the meat comes from the Netherlands and the burgers and sauces are homemade. The menu will make you drool! Several veggie burgers are available as well as a succulent fish & chips and chicken dishes. Children are not forgotten with dishes for them!

On Prinsengracht, this chain is a hit with its superb sandwiches. Cora is a high-end caterer that doesn't look like much from the outside. Everything is prepared to order and is therefore extremely fresh. You can place your order and enjoy it on the banks of the nearby canals. In summer, there's nothing better. Otherwise, there are a few seats in front of the restaurant, but they are naturally very popular. Nice, practical address

A very pleasant coffee bar in the centre of the city, you come to enjoy an excellent black and high quality broodje (bread is cooked on the spot). Blending wood and concrete, the interior is crude and attracts a clientele of young professionals who often stay there to work.
