The I amsterdam City Card has been the city's official card since 1996. Henri Willig is a family business, producing cheese in the Netherlands since 1974. Today, it's a heavyweight in the sector, with 30 stores in several European countries, museums in the Netherlands, and farms that can be visited - including the one in Katwoude. It's a fun and very interesting visit, as the farm is still in operation. You'll learn a lot about the cheese-making process, as well as the local wildlife. And, of course, there's a store with tasting facilities at the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

The word "experience" was not chosen by chance, as this is a truly unique experience, far removed from the notion of a museum. Historically, this was the brewery of the Heineken company, and remained so until 1988. In 1991, part of the building was preserved as a reception area and museum. Here, you can delve into the history of the brewery and the Netherlands, as well as into the making of beer. The tour ends with a visit to the superb bar and pretty terrace.

This museum, attached to Artis, is the museum of questions. Opened in 2022, it is housed in a superbly renovated zoo building, the historic headquarters of the Artis members' society until 1947. Groote takes us on a superb quest through life, design and the senses (superb olfactory tunnel) in a quest for a link with nature. The tour, divided into 12 zones, invites discovery through video, audio and text fragments (also in English). Workshops are held every day. A place to discover for children (aged 10 and over).
