CRÈMERIE MARCEL PETITE
Read moreMarcel Petite's Comté is THE star of the region, but it's also exported internationally, spreading its finesse and subtlety far and wide. In 1966, Marcel Petite had the idea of aging Comté in the former military fort of Saint-Antoine. He refined the technique and adapted to the temperature and humidity of the site, building a veritable underground cathedral for Comtois cheese. Other Comtois cheeses are of course also available from this creamery, which is a must-stop on your visit to Pontarlier.
