Boasting an original geographical location, this estate of almost thirty hectares, thirteen of which are AOC Patrimonio, was created in 1850 by the Santamaria family on the edge of Oletta.

Unlike other roadside estates, the Santamaria estate overlooks the picturesque mountain-lined Lake Padula, nestled on the outskirts of the village. The setting sun makes these remote lands seem like the end of the world, and they're definitely worth a visit! Organically farmed since 2014 and using a "culture raisonnée" approach since the beginning, the estate has been developed by Jean-Louis, a^{5th-generation} descendant of the Santamaria clan, supported today by his son Thomas, as well as Matisse, the figurehead of the ^6th generation.

In 2016, Thomas gave the family business a facelift and initiated a number of innovative changes: he proposed a new visual identity, which today stands out from the appellation's traditional labels, developed Tranoï (a contraction of Tra di noï, " between us ", in Corsican), a fine range of vins de pays, and in 2018 created "Montre tes yeux", a fresh and surprising red based on cinsault, a most original proposition for the region, but one that has proved popular. The red, white and rosé AOCs are a must-taste. Very popular in Corsica and on the mainland for its more accessible flavors, the range of vins de pays has been a victim of its own success, and certain creations are now impossible to find. This picturesque weekly event takes place in one of Corsica's most beautiful villages. An ideal place to fill your luggage with Corsican products (although cyclists will be limited by the weight!) or simply to find what you need for your day's picnic, or even to nibble on the spot.

Otta, the first Corsican Arrangerie rum distillery, was born in Barretali from the inspiration and determination of its creators, Laurence and Sandra, inspired by their own lives. Eco-responsible values for an island production based on AOC and IGP rums from the best producers and short circuits for local fruits and berries. We are formal, the best canistrelli of Corsica are a stone's throw from the old port of Bastia, at Mireille's house! Mireille, almost 50 years old and her mother Felicie, 90 years old, work under your eyes in their small shop of barely thirty square meters. Here, the recipes are authentic. You will find canistrelli, frappes (the famous fritters), fiadone (brocciu cake) and other Corsican delicacies. And if you arrive at the right time, every holiday of the year also has its speciality: Pentecost, All Saints' Day, Easter, Saint Joseph, etc. Mireille and Félicie also offer some salty snacks such as the famous Migliacci or La Bastelle (chard and broccoli slippers), but you will have to come early to buy some because they are very quickly victims of their success every day. In a cosy and refined setting, l'Empreinte Caviste mixes leather and wood tones with the subtle colors of Corsican wines and spirits with more than 1,500 references. A property renowned for its quality wines from 60 hectares of micro-terroirs, which make up all the richness of the wines, associated with the 7 emblematic grape varieties such as vermentinu, niellucciu, muscat petit grain and minustellu in particular. Special mention should be made of the beauty of the reception area, with exhibitions by renowned local and international artists, who present paintings and contemporary videos in total harmony with the surroundings. We fell in love with the white wine of the Felice cuvée, and an original Impassitu. For the reds, the emblematic Cuvée du Gouverneur matured in barrels is to be tasted in 3 years minimum. The red Cuvée Felice, very typical of the local appellation, can be drunk immediately to appreciate its red fruit aromas.

Hédiard is well known so that the guarantee of finding an excellent cognac flows from source. However, the store makes a nice share of the Corsican products so do not expect to have a large choix choice, you will find in general the delicious cognac Lhéraud. You have to accompany it with regional delicacies: poutargue, Corsican meats, chestnut bowl or nougat with hazelnuts are certainly the best places to accompany your tasting.

The area covers 13 hectares of slopes and clay, calcaire and schistose valleys. Cultivated with passion for several generations, Annette Leccia-de la Rossat's vineyard is in organic farming. The exceptional land allied to the traditional grape variety (niellucciu for the reds and the rosé, vermentinu for the whites, muscat small grains for natural sweet wines) bring to its wines all their typical.

One of the oldest estates in the Cape, created around 1850, disappeared in the 1920s. A new generation has replanted the vineyard which has 10 hectares of vermentinu, muscat petit grain and aleatico. The beautiful cellar in the ancestral mansion of the 19th century is worth a stop in Rogliano in the hamlet of Vignale for a look. The sale and the tasting, as for them, are carried out in Macinaggio. After Jean-Noël Luigi, it is Marine and Sébastien who now manage the estate. The reputation of the vineyard goes beyond the limits of the island and the AOC Muscat and Coteaux du Cap Corse, especially in white, surprise more than one amateur.

Trained in the art of macaroons at Lenôtre and then at Hermé, Anne Marchetti went to La Trinité and then to Piedigrioggio to present her range of exceptional biscuits. Fruity, chocolate, floral or vegetable, her macaroons are a delight for gourmets and gourmands. Her work is growing and she is now known all over the island and far beyond. Dalilha opened in 2009 this small, cosy and relaxed Boudoir where you feel like in a cocoon, pampered! To eat all day long until 6:30 pm on the spot or to take the dishes to go, pass the barrier that lifts automatically. Xavier Baldovini invites you to visit his artisanal cheese factory which is located in the middle of the maquis on the east coast of the Isle of Beauty. Here are made authentic Corsican cheeses with all the tradition and flavours that this means. Xavier makes the small ewe and the ewe's tomette Fiore di Montaggna, Fleur de Montaggna, the Broccio Passu AOC, the Corsican tomettes, the Corsetin de brebis... A know-how handed down from father to son. An ideal place to discover all the local flavours in an idyllic setting.

Christophe Ferrandis settled in the village after training in the Bandol appellation and a solid training acquired by his BTA vini-oeno and BTSA viti-oeno. He vinifies in an ancient bergery and his 7 Ha vineyard faces Leccia domains in Morta Pianala, the plain of the Myrtes. The crop is in organic and harvesting is made in a caissette with a low yield per hectare. To discover: the Clos Signadore cuv, produced only in red, and the A Mandria cuvée in the three colors.

Domaine Lazzarini is a wine shop located in Patrimonio, Corsica. This family-run estate reflects the values handed down from generation to generation and offers an authentic experience in the heart of the village. Located in Barbaggio, Haute-Corse, Mlle D's winery, Marie-Françoise Devichi Vigneronne, is a must-see destination for wine lovers. Marie-Françoise Devichi, the first woman to run the estate, represents the 6th generation of one of the oldest winegrowing families on the island of Corsica. The estate extends over 40 hectares in a single block, in the idyllic setting of the Conca d'Oro, recently classified as a Grand Site de France. The clay-limestone soils give the wines their unique character. Marie-Françoise Devichi practises integrated viticulture, respecting the exceptional terroir she has inherited. Keen to develop the reputation of her estate, she has created her own brand, Mlle D, and offers a range of wines combining tradition and modernity.

This 6-hectare estate, owned by the Marfisi family, includes over 1,000 olive trees. The varieties are typical of the region: germaine de Casinca, germaine de Tallano and sabine. The trees are cultivated using integrated farming methods. A special feature is that the fruit is harvested from the tree before it falls naturally, giving the oil a vegetal aroma and a peppery touch. The estate also produces a black tapenade, made entirely on the property.

Eric Poli, who is also President of the Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins Corses, founded this beautiful estate in 2005. He cut his teeth on his father's estate in Piana on the east coast, so needless to say, quality is his leitmotiv. Clos Alivu covers almost 15 hectares in the Patrimonio PDO (Corsica's oldest appellation): 3 hectares in Oletta and 12 hectares in Santo-Pietro-di-Tenda. The island's Vermentino and Niellucciu grapes produce whites, reds and rosés that are waiting to be discovered!

The Ottavi family cheese dairy produces a small number of goat's and sheep's cheeses. Our star product is our multi-award-winning Tomme de Brebis. This hard cheese reveals even more flavor when served with fig jam, or figs with walnuts, on a slice of farmhouse bread. Other products include u fium'orbu (a soft cheese) made from goat's or sheep's milk, which can be bought as a spread or in portions for goat's milk cheese, or fior' di machja made from sheep's milk. Extraordinary products!

The estate is planted with niellucciu, alicante (the old signature variety of the estate's wines), vermentinu and muscat petit grain. On request, you can visit the winery on the Santa Severa seafront. Domaine Pieretti's wines thrive on the influence of the sea, as some of the vines have their feet practically in the water. The winery is run by Lina Venturi-Pieretti, heiress to a long line of Corsican winemakers, who is committed to promoting the terroir and its wines.

U Palmentu offers Mediterranean cuisine, with seafood specialties including fresh fish from the Centuri fishery. The restaurant also features a wine bar and serves piattinis and tapas. We particularly appreciate the restaurant's magical setting, which serves as a backdrop for the delicious dishes. The restaurant overlooks the port of Centuri, adding to its charm. U Palmentu is a recommended address for lovers of traditional cuisine made with local produce.

Created in 1981 by mother Cristiani Francine, this patisserie has now been courageously taken over by son Guy. Here, you can enjoy all the sweet and savoury specialities of Haute-Corse. First and foremost, try the savoury brocciu doughnut made on the premises, as well as the sweet banana, apple and chocolate doughnuts... If you feel like it, try the frappes, cannistrelli, torta a l'erba (herb pie) or the figatellu doughnut, an island exclusive. The best of Corsican patisserie!

In one of the town's oldest regional produce stores, immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Corsica by discovering local products. Selected charcuterie from Castagniccia, farmhouse cheeses, candied citron, liqueurs with the aroma of the maquis and, of course, PDO Oliu di Corsica olive oil. In particular, you'll find the green gold of Domaine Oltremonti, which produces one of the hundred best olive oils in the world. A tasting of coppa, lonzu, prizzutu and sausage is also recommended, to ensure you make the right choice.

Amirale, Patriotique or Fidèle, the pretty bottles or cans of this beer don't lack piquancy, and tasting them is a pleasure. In 2019, Dumè Beretti created the Gloria artisanal microbrewery in Calvi, on the Balagne balconies road, to create a premium, full-flavored beer, American-style but... Corsican, for fine dining and its happy clientele, with boxes and entertainment at the brewery or in town, around a scooter... We also like Limo, a lightly sweetened lemonade available in three flavors: clementine, lemon and apple.

It's anyone's guess whether the Guidoni family deliberately chose to make their home on the airport road, the one that smacks of the nostalgia of returning from vacation! In any case, it's an ideal place to make the last purchases that will fill your suitcases. The members of the Guidoni clan are breeders, producers, butchers and charcutiers. A sure bet for anyone wanting to buy salciccia (sausage), panzetta or lonzu, among other cheeses, canistrelli and other local culinary delights!

The Aghione cooperative, created in 1975, groups together 31 wineries. The vineyards extend over 850 hectares of vines planted directly around the winery, a large part of which are in organic conversion and certified as having a high environmental value. The vine feeds on a clay-limestone terroir, with clay-limestone soils, red sands and rolled pebbles. During the 13th edition of the Mondial du Rosé, the wines of the Vignerons d'Aghione, the only Corsican wines to be rewarded, won 3 silver medals!

Mattei, famous for having invented Cap Corse, the island's emblematic aperitif, over 150 years ago, is now a concept store offering a wide range of products from the island and around the world. In addition to Mattei alcohols, you'll find a cellar brimming with wines and spirits, delicatessen products and designer items in this superb historic building listed as a French heritage site. There's also a large bar where you can sample the house's delicacies during a visit or on festive occasions.

Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and with a hundred members, this cooperative produces a top-of-the-range oil, marketed under the name "Oru di Balagna", the gold of Balagne. It comes from several varieties of olives, mainly sabine and germaine, from olive trees several hundred years old. Designated the best olive oil in France by the magazine 60 millions de consommateurs, it is also regularly awarded at the Salon International de l'Agriculture.

"Naturally different" is the motto of La Roulotte. In 1988, a real caravan symbolized the free spirit and precursor of the organic label, present on the island. Today in Corsica, the bio has won hearts with three supermarkets with more than 10 000 references. You will find here fruits and vegetables, cleaning products respectful of the environment, cosmetics, food supplements, essential oils and the friendly welcome of passionate people. Every first Saturday of the month, on the Place de l'Église, from 8am to 12pm, the Muro market welcomes you and offers clothing, equipment and accessories, as well as local and terroir products. Shopkeepers will be happy to advise you and invite you to sample their produce. You can also find them in Calvi, every first and third Thursday of the month, all day long, on the Ortacce parking lot, or in L'Île-Rousse, on the first and third Fridays of the month on the Place Paoli, all day long.

The third organic store of the now famous sign, precursor of the organic distribution in Corsica is on the eastern coast in Valle-di-campoloro. If the Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville is commonly known as the Place du Marché, it's because on Saturday and Sunday mornings it hosts a market where gourmands gather. Local fruit and vegetables (yes, avocados are grown in Corsica!), ready-made dishes and other specialties will make your mouth water. Don't hesitate to treat yourself to fritelles, little doughnuts with fresh cheese, at the stand opposite the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church! As for bargain hunters, they'll love the flea market in Place Saint-Nicolas every Sunday morning.

For some thirty years, the Mattei family, parents and sons, have been making traditional sheep's and goat's cheeses. The milk is collected every morning from around twenty producers on the eastern plains and in the Castagniccia region, before being transformed into various soft cheeses and brocciu. A filetta means "fern" in Corsican, and with good reason: a hint of fresh fern is added to each cheese as a signature. You'll find an online store and great cheese recipes on the website!

A family business since 1932, which perfumes the streets of the city of Paolo with the scent of coffees from all over the world! You enter as if in a museum to appreciate the antique roaster, the collection of grinders and coffee makers and the bags brandished like banners on the walls of the store. The entire Franceschini family is on hand to tell you about the renowned quality of their blends. Not a coffee lover? Don't worry! The store also offers a fine selection of teas and infusions from around the world.

Created in 2011 by the Una Lenza da Annacquà association, the local producers' market is the only outlet in the region to offer only certified organic fruit and vegetables. The stalls in the village square offer healthy, fair-trade produce: untreated vegetables, AOC olive oil, fresh Casgiu Casanu ewe's milk cheese, organic bread kneaded by hand and baked in a wood-fired oven, not to mention tasty fish from the local catch!

This is the parent company. Martine and Hyacinthe Grimaldi, former shepherds, founded the patisserie in 1930 in the heart of Corte, which was to become the birthplace of the famous Corsican chocolate. Jean and Martine Grimaldi took over the business in 1988, where they set out to promote local products. Everything comes from the Corte laboratory: breads, butter pastries, sandwiches, vegetable quiches, migliacci, falculedda, 50 varieties of chocolate, ice creams and catering. The Paolini family created this estate in 1900. Today, Marc Paolini represents the fifth generation, following in the footsteps of his mother who ran the estate inherited from his own father. The Domaine Landry, planted with traditional grape varieties, is renowned for its grey rosé, of which it was the forerunner, but also a beautiful red Léa cuvée, matured in oak barrels, the white Léa, the Innatendu, a surprising red, the Blanc des copines. Also a teacher, Serge Cagninacci has been a beekeeper for 25 years out of passion. In the honey house in the heart of his village of Urtaca, he offers a PDO honey produced with respect for Corsican traditions and bees in sustainable beekeeping and awarded at the Miels de France competition. The sedentary beehives at an altitude of 400 m express the nobility of the Ostriconi and the cold extraction guarantees the excellence of the products and the flavors: summer scrub, spring scrub or scrub honeydew, three characters to discover and enjoy!

Biscuiterie du Cap Corse is a patisserie located in Sisco, Corsica. It specializes in the manufacture of certified organic and gluten-free cookies.
