In a quiet street in the Montorgueil district, Jefrey's offers withdrawal and voluptuousness. Some very cosy armchairs, the magnificent grey sofa to share with two, the alignment of the bottles in the window... We're waiting for you! The barmen are virtuoso, they will serve you cocktails that will make you take off, before leaving at wolf's pace. You will be tempted by the original cocktail creations or by the rich menu with a beautiful selection of whiskies from the main Scottish and international distilleries, fine spirits (some bottles are rare) or even aperitifs, wines and champagnes.

NO ENTRY

Cocktail bar

In the basement of Pink Mamma, one of the restaurants of the Big Mamma Italianizing Band, there is a hidden and really well hidden bar! To access it, you have to push a heavy metal door with the inscription "No entry". We then cross a small corridor in the air of a refrigerator where pieces of meat are hung behind windows and by pushing the second door we arrive in a completely different atmosphere: a room with soft and warm lights that is very cosy cocoon. A la carte, it is a cocktail festival that highlights ingredients from 15 Italian regions. We recommend Toscana with chianti and pomegranate with a zest of yuzu. Each cocktail is accompanied by antipasti (parmesan, olives, focaccia and mortadella). A unique bar not to be missed!

Formerly called Action Ecoles then the Desperdado, this beautiful establishment, opened in 1977 to showcase revivals of old American films, was bought by director Jean-Pierre Mocky. The latter, in addition to showing his own films, offered every day in both cinemas a classic French film, an American classic in VOST and a genre film in VOST. After a recent change of ownership, this cinema now specializes in revivals of old films, particularly American films in their original version. Festivals and debates are regularly held there, as at the Christine Cinéma club, these two cinemas being part of the same entity: the Paris Cinéma Club.

Closed - Open to 19h00

Andy for Warhol and Wahloo for "nothing" in Arabic: the tone is set. Here, you are immersed in Warholian mix of oriental touches, with tables made of Moroccan signal panels, seats made of cans and seats of a thousand and one nights. One-way ticket to somewhere else. The Mazouz brothers, who have the sense of hospitality, also own the very good restaurant 404, just by the side. The address is spacious but gets crowded quickly, very successful. The wavy bar with integrated orange lights is perfectly combined with a thousand small objects of Arab supermarkets nestled in huts along the window. The atmosphere is both cosy and festive, the cocktails are good - unmissable: the Wahloo Spécial with dark rum and homemade Mojito with vodka. You can enjoy mezzes while listening to oriental music until the atmosphere rises, something which never fails - programme: animal party. In summer, the courtyard is transformed into a riad: it is perfect.

A passage from the relaxation bellevillois, this old café-theatre today welcomes the most crowded evenings of the neighborhood. Built in 1913 for King Edward VII of England, one of the great lovers of Belle Époque Parisian life, this was the theater where Sacha Guitry premiered many of his plays during the 1920s. After extensive renovations, the theatre reopened in 2001 under the direction of Bernard Murat and Jean-Louis Livi. This handsome, vast 720-seat venue is located close to the Opéra Garnier, on a pretty pedestrian street that was pedestrianized several decades ago. If the Folies are Bergère, it's because the café concert built here in 1869 was to take a street name. As the nearby lanes all bore surnames, only this pretty, evocative word would do! At the end of the 19th century, the room's promenade saw many demi-mondaines and noceurs pass by. In 1926, Joséphine Baker, another big star of the Folies Bergère, arrived, along with numerous revues. THÉÂTRE DU PALAIS-ROYAL

Theater
4.3/5

The room itself is already a show. Trained in Italian, with about 800 places, it shines a thousand éclats. The th century atmosphere dominates and enchants. It is a jewel in a historic area. The Royal Palace, where it is located, began to be built by the will of the Cardinal of Richelieu. He then called himself the Cardinal Palace. The theatre was built in 1784 in this area, which became property of Philippe d'Orléans. The architect is Victor Louis, who expands the room in 1791. He then took the name of his director, Miss Montansier, an important woman in the middle of this period. In 1831, a famous comedian named Dormeuil took over. The place was named at the Palais-Royal theatre. They play vaudevilles. There were many pieces of Eugène Labiche - Embrace-us Folleville, the Straw hat of Italy… -, Parisian Life, Meilhac, Halévy and Offenbach… In the 1960 s, the comic vein irrigates again and again this room - Achard, Roussin, Dorin… In 1973 stands here the first of La Cage aux folles, Jean Poiret with the author and Michel Serrault. It is a historic triumph, which, elsewhere, will last until 1979! There will then be other successes, including Merry Easter, the same Poiret with Maria Pacôme and Nicole Calfan - from 1980 to 1983 - or the shows of the Unknown and the Quartet. A real palace of laughter royal!

From the 1950s onwards, Bobino rivaled the Olympia, welcoming Georges Brassens, Edith Piaf, Coluche and many other stars. The venue was closed in 1983 and demolished, but the show went on, and in 1991 Studio Bobino took over.
