The Comédie Caumartin is one of those popular theaters where laughter has been the order of the evening for decades. Numerous plays by Georges Feydeau, Tristan Bernard and Sacha Guitry, as well as "one-man shows", are on offer. Built in 1906, this 400-seat theater was named the Comédie Royale before adopting its current name in 1923. It closed in 1932 and was revived 20 years later by Jacques Fabbri's troupe. From 1960 to 1980, it presented "Boeing Boeing", Marc Camoletti's timeless vaudeville. Since then, one boulevard play follows another.

The Opéra-Comique, founded under Louis XIV, is one of the oldest institutions of its kind. In 2005, it became one of 6 national theaters, and in 2015, it celebrates its 300th anniversary! In 1783, the first Opéra-Comique was born, mixing opera, ritornello and farce. Ruined twice, it was the third venue, opened in 1898, that contributed to the fame of works such as Bizet's Carmen . Since the end of 2021, conductor Louis Langrée has been at the helm, with a program in keeping with the "Favart spirit", combining classical and new works.

If you haven't yet discovered Gravity Bar, it's never too late to catch up! From the first glance, the Scandinavian-inspired decor is a real eye-catcher: from floor to ceiling, large wave-shaped slats of white wood set the scene. The cocktails on offer are made in front of you, of course, and the expertise on display is worth the show. On the menu, the vast majority of cocktails are unknown to the general public: a good point. We also recommend the excellent sharing plates.

The Palais Garnier was commissioned by Napoleon III and was one of the key pieces of the major renovation work carried out in the capital by Baron Haussmann. Charles Garnier was the architect. This sumptuous temple of lyrical art and classical dance was inaugurated in 1875 after fifteen years of work. It is admired as much for its architecture as for its programs. There is the famous double revolution staircase that soars under a marble nave of various shades - as soon as it opened, it was adopted by "good society" who liked to show off. The foyers are filled with sculptures and paintings. As for the hall, dominated by red and gold colours, it has a huge and legendary crystal chandelier - 8 tons! - and a ceiling painted by Marc Chagall in 1964. It can accommodate nineteen hundred people. A museum tells, through its collections and temporary exhibitions, three centuries of opera history. The institution is equipped with an orchestra that performs most of the works on the program. The Palais Garnier shares with the Opéra Bastille its productions of lyrical shows, but has remained a Mecca for dance. Some recitals and symphonic concerts are also on the programme.

Just in front of the National Archives, here is an original address since this mansion houses a superb room with exposed beams which is a tavern and concert hall. You can also eat a good French cuisine based on local products and the plates are well stocked. During the day the restaurant looks very chic, but in the evening the tavern welcomes night owls of all ages who come to listen to the groups who perform there, generally from 9pm. This Petit Olympia is the place to be before or after a concert in the mythical frescoed hall of Rome. The impressive wooded decor has been sublimated to allow everyone to be in a furiously cosy place. You can of course eat there, but you can also have a drink in peace. The beautiful place is even connected by a small secret passage that will lead you directly to the Olympia. It had been demolished in 1997, and was dug again: a unique experience. You can sometimes meet celebrities there, mainly before or after shows. A nice place to go in this area which is not lacking in celebrities.

You will have to climb the hill of Belleville, get lost in a maze of little frequented streets, but full of charm, and you will find this place so typical, whose name alone sums up the spirit. Here, songs, accordion, evenings dedicated to the kid Piaf, to the barrel organ with Riton the Crank, you will have understood it, one resuscitates a Paris of former days. To have a drink or enjoy a board to share, for a meal with good products, simple cuisine and desserts that hold the body, it is also an excellent place. A stone's throw from Place du Tertre, this cabaret restaurant of eighty seats, created in 1928, offers a show preceded by a dinner or a lunch - marinated salmon with mint cream, duck breast with caramel candied pear and snow peas, pineapple carpaccio and coconut ice cream... Singers, illusionists, copycats, ventriloquists and other humorists liven up the evening. The house also offers a guided tour of the old village of Montmartre followed by a lunch show. A must, for which you will book.

It was the first cabaret where Leo Ferré gave a concert in 1948 and great names of jazz went through this: Sidney Bechet, John Coltran, Count Basie and his great orchestra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and many others. Today we take a drink at the piano bar, dine in the restaurant and direction the cabaret to listen to world music: South American, African, Oriental, French, etc. Until 5 o'clock in the morning, dancers and musicians follow on stage. 

The space of this place, located on the walls of the original pictures or paintings of creators, with a warm loft appearance, is large enough to count a scene, a dance track and a dining room. And it's pretty good, because the floor offers, in addition to its creative French cuisine, concerts every night followed by clubbing on weekends. The entrance is free of charge and you will have to pay for your drinks to enjoy the world music atmosphere, soul, jazz and funk.

Classified as a historical monument, it is a giant cinema with seven theatres. Opened in 1932 by Jacques Haïk, the Rex was an immediate success with its luxurious decoration, its 2,000 m² and its starry-vaulted ceiling culminating at over 30 m. A word of advice: attending a blockbuster preview in this room, especially if the film is in 3D, will give you the impression of being a privileged one. The quality of the projection is exemplary. But the Grand Rex is also a place where concerts and musicals are presented that can fill a hall with more than 2,700 seats on three levels. A museum and a discotheque complete the vast complex.

This theatre owes the love of an English impresario to his dancer. In 1919 Sir Alfred Butt built it for Régine Flory, on the Palladium model of London. He is named Palace Theatre. During the Roaring Years, you can see the Ballets Russian, classical music concerts, pianiste. And operettas, that until the 1970 s. It's one of the most flamboyant symbols of Montmartre and Paris. Since its creation in 1889, this singular MOULIN has been the dream of millions of earthlings, from London to Berlin to Tokyo! The establishment features a gigantic dance floor, countless mirrors, a gallery and a garden. The public also participates in the imaginary world of the place. Balls at the MOULIN ROUGE quickly became very popular, and the cancan dancers mythical. Today, the "Féerie" revue features 90 artists, including 40 female dancers and 20 male dancers.

A reference, of course! Treat yourself to the luxury of tasting the best traditional hot chocolate in Paris. Named the African, it owes its name to the origins of the three cocoas that make it up: Ghana, Niger and Côte d'Ivoire. With its powerful and strong aromas, it is the pride of the house that keeps the secret of its recipe, just like Mont-Blanc, this gourmet pastry that combines the crunch of meringue with the lightness of whipped cream and the sweetness of vermicelli and chestnut cream. This well-known bar by all the geeks of the capital is more often busy: think of getting there early if you wish to taste the house cocktails (Poison Ivy or Fulguro Poing) or grab a bite to eat. Moreover, vegetarians and  vegans will be well hosted and you can order gluten-free meal which needs a small supplement. The setting  particularly worth a detour, between full-scale figurine of alien, Star Wars atmosphere and board games in the shelves. Events are organized regularly (blind test, role-playing game) but also many concerts, various and varied conferences.

This cabaret has spent its 50th anniversary in style. We appreciated Thierry le Luron, Laurent Gerra, Laurent Ruquier, Michel Leeb, Enrico Macias, Pierre Perret and many others, including André Aubert, a whimsical man who remained famous for his imitations of Fernandel - Don Patillo... As far as the restaurant part is concerned, Don Camilo tempts you with dishes such as: homemade fresh duck foie gras, piece of beef roasted with perigourdine, leg of lamb roasted with thyme flower, salmon roasted with white butter and garnished with gratin dauphinois and small vegetables, Norwegian omelette..

In a kitsch setting, you can enjoy fruit cocktails - but also ice cream, salads and dishes - with amazing flavors and lavishly presented with huge straw and fresh fruit. Le Paradis du Fruit is one of the forerunners of return to natural life. Season fruits are the star of the card with some small differences, especially the Bonbons candy. This is not to not children! What pleases the big ones is freshness, quality of products, and the possibility of composing its own cocktail. What pleases the branchés is to be happy in an original way, those who watch their line will appreciate the pleasures of fruit without taking superfluous kilos and the greedy ones will love everything!

This old lady, looking like a Chinese pagoda, has been indefatigable for 150 years. The rounded concert hall, lined with small round tables and red stools, also doubles as a dancefloor. The Bataclan offers an eclectic program and a wide range of evening events. It has long been a mecca for concerts, dancing, joy and laughter. Following the tragic events of 2015, the Bataclan underwent extensive renovation, proving that life goes on, and has resumed its programming with unfailing zest.

This funny history that of the Semicolon. In 1975, a group of youth actors like Martin Lamotte, Gérard Lanvin or Anemone build a place called "La Veuve Pichard". Three years later, Christian Varini follows the theater and creates the Semicolon. It became famous in the tea Trempoint, stage discovered comedians still today place on saturdays at 16:00. Since 2005, Jean-Marc Dumontet managed with passion this cult place and continues to provide the best burlesque scene. Shows of Nicolas Canteloup or Alex Lutz were particularly produced by Dumontet. Each year, the best comedians find themselves in Olympia for a unique sight. This is how the smallest of the Parisian rooms is one of the great names of the capital...

Monumental, facing the Eiffel Tower, in a gigantic building built on the Chaillot hill by architects Léon Azéma, Jacques Carlu and Louis-Hippolyte Boileau for the 1937 Universal Exhibition, the Théâtre National de Chaillot is a mecca for dance and music. It was here that Jean Vilar established the Théâtre National Populaire - TNP - in 1951. Today, the venue boasts several seats, and has established itself as a must-see dance venue.

Before this superb neo-Renaissance theater was built in 1900, an ^18th-century music salon already existed on the same site. In 1931, the Ranelagh became a renowned art house cinema. It gradually returned to theater and music, as well as circus arts, notably with the successful performances of Howard Buten as the clown Buffo. The current 300-seat auditorium has retained its character, with carved oak panelling lining the orchestra and balconies.

Also known as the "French", this institution was created nearly 340 years ago. King Louis XIV, a great lover of entertainment, was responsible for its creation. Molière's plays are performed here, of course, but also those by Racine and Scarron. Over the centuries, the Comédie-Française has never moved from the Place Colette, just a stone's throw from the royal palace. Take the time to enter the hall and visit the museum, before attending a performance: classical or contemporary, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Certainly one of the most beautiful and warmest summer terraces in Paris. Located in the 12th district just behind the AccorHotels Arena, the Papa Cabane is really a must to leave Paris for a festive evening. Wooden terrace, cosy furniture, colored cushions, animations worthy of a vacation club, salsa classes, Latin music and summer hits with a good DJ, but also petanque ground and ping-pong table... The bar offers good cocktails and one of the best mojitos in Paris.

Rather than an interstellar journey, it's a journey in the time you propose Planet Mars, in the heart of the 1960 s. The place of the place is obviously dominated by red. We strongly advise you not to wait until the last minute: while there are hundreds of plays to discover, crowds are particularly high, especially at weekends.

The most famous Parisian cabaret was originally a wine cellar. Today, the glitter and glam of the troupe have even allowed it to offer its own champagne. It is to say that the pretty dancers knew how to attract the smiles of a conquered public! Recently, the cabaret presented the show Totally Crazy! a retrospective of the most emblematic paintings of the Crazy Horse since its 65 years of existence. Discover the most mythical creations of the cabaret, from 1951 to today. Launched by the no less mythical Alain Bernardin, the place hosts irregularly personalities, who lend themselves to the game. Bluffing - sometimes!

In the heart of the famous rue des Rosiers, cap on Central and Eastern Europe thanks to this Yellow Boutique founded in 1946, symbol of a return to life after Nazi hell. You can enjoy on-site or take traditional Yiddish specialities such as vatrouchka (sweet white cheese cake) with vanilla and grapes, unless you prefer cherries, lemon or orange orange. Viennese strudel and poppy cake are also worth a visit. The boutique also offers savoury specialities such as goulasch, caviar from sweet peppers, Bulgarian böreks - sheep cheese, peppers, spinach or small vegetables - not forgetting hot sandwiches such as the Yiddish sandwich.

With its exotic atmosphere, its countless tea jars each more enchanting than the last, the fine and delicate teapots and cups, Mariage Frères hasn't finished to seduce you. The prices are the same. Because if lovers of tea are ready to sacrifice an important part of their money to enjoy the most subtle combinations, the neophyte can practice on very affordable teas with perfumes from elsewhere. The tea room and the restaurant allow you to enjoy tea in all its forms: cuisine with tea, with for example a salmon with Jade tea powder infusion, desserts with tea, such as the creme brulee with Marco Polo tea, or fruit cocktails with tea, like the Habibi, a frosty mixture with Casablanca green and black tea. And beware those who dare to ask for a coffee after their dessert!

In this space, two scenarios are proposed in this complex of escape games: Lost Asylum and Very bad night. The first one sends you to 1952, in an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Get out in less than an hour before being caught by the ghosts of the patients! The second one, a little less scary, takes the scenario of a well known movie. You wake up in an unknown apartment without remembering anything and have to get out before the owner arrives. Observation, search and manipulation of objects are the key words here.

Located at the feet of high buildings, typical of the new 13 ^th century built in the last few decades, this district theatre subsidized by the City hall of Paris has been offering performances in 1981 to discover emerging talents, whether they are directors, actors or authors. That said, repertory works are not forgotten. A few names read on the posters in this 250-seat hall theatre: Xavier Durringer, Yasmina Reza, Fabrice Luchini, Gildas Bourdet, Jean-Pierre Miquel, Béatrice Agenin…

And the place immediately takes you into this atmosphere, breathed by a young and dynamic team. As a beer bar, the establishment offers an original and quality selection. Customers enjoy theHappy Hour from 4pm to 9pm on weekdays and from 4pm to midnight on Saturdays. The team also offers boards, burgers, crocs, fries and many other snacks

Located in the former dining room of the hotel, café Jacquemart-André is the most beautiful tearoom in Paris. Consoles Louis XV in sculptured and gilded wood, beautiful tapestries of the eighteenth century and to top it all with the ceiling painted by Tiepolo where characters trompe-l'oeil leaning on the balustrade gives the impression of greeting visitors. Pleasant, brunch on the terrace, overlooking the garden. This charming setting should take you to the time of great artists such as Titian and Botticelli.

Many barges border the quay of François Mauriac - but you notice a really original one. Between the small baths with ultra modern architecture and the Batofar, Dame de Canton is one of its king. Indeed, it is by entering the interior of this quite classic brasserie that you discover the charm of the place: brown furniture and red seats, sounds of cutlery and exclamation behind the kitchen, Napoleonic frescoes which adorn the back wall, small dishes of the south west, and many other highly tasty surprises… For a quick coffee or a long break with friends with a glass of wine, Caffe Cambronne is enjoyable for its warm atmosphere. The price is certainly a little high, but you won't be disappointed by the quality of the establishment.

A swore great fan of Elvis (his tattoos prove his faith), biscotos and cap screwed on the head, Alan runs his bar like no one else. Tens of "old" mojito are served each day here, and we rarely wait on the counter. In a mood of rockabilly and Montmartrean bistro, the atmosphere encourages you either to dance the rock or to listen to the anecdotes of this place which crossed all 20th century, leaned with an original. In addition to that, Alan, a passionate about history, knows some nice stories about former owner, named Camille. Our favourite is: when the German soldiers went up the hillock to search the neighbourhood during the Second World War, we heard the whistle of Camille to warn the inhabitants to the Sacré-Coeur. In short, we have fun in the old-fashioned way at Chez Camille and we do it well.

The Octogenarian Bar Le Bristol knows how to renew over the years, to stay at the forefront… For several months, it has a prestigious new recruit: Chief bartender Maxime Hoerth, Best Worker of France 2011. He selects products of excellence to make you appreciate your cocktail! To accompany him, the bar also offers a tapas assortment created by Bristol Étoilé Chef Eric Frechon. All in a luxurious atmosphere: Silk curtains, woodwork and marble fireplace. The place also hosts sharp Djs from Thursday to Saturday, to make the happy few on electro and vintage sounds.

Here is an address that should delight gourmets. Located at 75, rue du Bac, the bistro Les Ambassades invites you to take a gourmet break in a pleasant and friendly setting. We serve classic French dishes like rice pudding, a particularly tasty bone marrow, homemade french fries, snails from Burgundy, duck foie gras or a hearty shepherd's board. In addition, the wine list is very extensive and allows you to discover local wines. It is a perfect place for reunions around good food.

A must, located right next to La Cigale and having the same notoriety in Paris - or almost. Indeed, this trendy bar with its industrial and wooded decor, on several levels, is located right next to the famous stage. This is where the trendy youth meet before or after having shared a musical moment, but it is above all a very lively rallying point. In the evening, avoid making it a place for a romantic date, the crowd is dense, and we prefer to come here in a group. The drinks are affordable for the neighbourhood, and the terrace is unmissable in summer. In short, an institution in Pigalle, filled from morning to night.
