CROQUES BERRY

Food truck
4/5
1 review

The Smiling Smiling had the good idea to launch a French food truck with the little dishes she cuisine at home. It didn't take long for her to find the most appropriate places and to keep the customers happy. Everything is made home and during the winter, soups, cassoulet, veal blanquette have taken precedence over salads. His great success? His pie of leek-wine et and… his traditional desserts desserts like his clafouti with pears-carambar, his fruit pies and his chocolate foam. We add a homemade apple juice, a Bière beer or a local glass of glass, and you understand the home spirit. Everything is served with a smile in eco-responsible packaging. If you have a little appetite and guests to enjoy, the catering service will suit you perfectly. Simple and tasty!

After taking a little tour of the market, what's better than installing at one of the tables in Biniou, this walk that goes around the halls. A wide choice of salty and sweet pancakes is available to you. The boss learned to make his pancakes in Brittany and the quality of the dough is unequivocal. Trinkets hanging on the walls play the local color card. In the summer, the restaurant deploys its wings with its beautiful terrace that is protected by a store, history to store the sun without risking a hot blow.

LA FLEUR DE SEL

Crperie €€
4/5
1 review

A stone's throw from the Palais d'Auron, which is sensitive to artisanal authenticity, this walk is the new hallmark of the Barbès district. Behind his bilig, Céline Pouillard manufactures delicious buckwheat pancakes - also known as patties - from a Farine tradition purchased at two steps. No mystery, you need quality ingredients to succeed in the best recipes, so know-how creates excellence. For this reason, there are rarely surprises, quality is constant. Pancakes are always well cooked and well furnished. On the menu: salmon cake with its leeks of leeks, galette galette au with a green salad for nuts. Sweet pancakes play the warm-cold trend with creamy caramelized apples and house glace. Our gourmands also have their menu that they enjoy without restraint. The service is pleasant and the decoration in the colours of the green anis and light brown house lends itself with taste to wooden furniture.

La is not walk like others. Here you will be able to taste pancakes that match the seasons, but also that consumed by Nicolas Sarkozy during his visit in 2011 in the Cher prefecture. The Présidentielle-based presidential, mushrooms, gruyère are here to recall the passage of the former head of state. Your meal can be accompanied by a salad as well as a sweet crepe or a good ice cream depending on your wishes. You will have plenty of time to decide between the service of different dishes.

L’ORIENTALE – CHEZ AICHA

The Oriental has always been faithful for more than ten years and invites you to a wonderful journey. There is total change, and your senses will be filled. The refined and typical decoration smells good the sun. On the weekend, you are served in traditional attire. The kitchen is skillfully perfumed. We start with a soup harira - oriental soup of slightly spicy vegetables, then choose from among the tajines the one whose only name will transport us: the zitounes to chicken, green olives and candied lemon, the delicate belcouc blend sweet sweet salty salt, acidulous, lamb-based, which appreciates its softness and its learned blends. The couscous are also delicious and delicious. In the summer, a fresh salad menu and seasonal specialities are available. If you are still hungry, delicious oriental pastries (makrout, baklawa…) prepared in the morning by Aïcha. The location is very convenient for the organisation of private evenings and an Oriental dancer can even come. As often for good addresses, it is advisable to book. Couscous, tajines, oriental pastries and wines can be ordered to take up to 100 people.

LA GRANGE AUX DÎMES

French cuisine restaurant €€
3.7/5
3 reviews

At La Grange aux Tithes, we take the time to eat fine dishes prepared with the utmost attention by Raphaël Perseil. After practicing in several renowned establishments, the chef decided to open his own restaurant in his hometown in 2010. The barn used to be used to store the harvest tax, a privilege abolished in 1789. The hotel has a cachet and enjoys a beautiful location at the foot of the collegial Saint-Angelo-en-Graçay college, which must be seen for its steered bell tower. But let's go back to the chef's kitchen! The card changes almost once a month. Each time, therefore, we have the pleasure to taste a new creation, a unique painting that reveals the artistic talent of the chef as well as his mastery of culinary techniques. Fruits and vegetables come from a local vegetable garden, they have this fresh freshness and flavor. It's hard to keep marble in front of a crumb in beef cheeks accompanied by small core carrots and a red juice with red wine or a mixed lamb pressed! And for dessert lovers, the chef concocted a cocoa velocity, virgin berry lenses of Berry or a pistachio dacquoise, vanilla light cream, red fruit compode, raspberry sorbet.

For lunch at the Bistro des Halles it is best to book. This small facility is still bursting at midday. The Saint-Amandois press the lunch break for the dish of the day or formulas at the soft price. In spite of its name the Bistro des Halles is first and foremost a restaurant where you can eat traditional cuisine, without a well-executed and rich chichi. LA COURCILLIERE

French cuisine restaurant €€
3/5
7 reviews

Dinner at La Courcillière is first to take advantage of one of the most beautiful sites of Bourges: the marshes. Moreover, for the small story, the name of Courcillière comes from the berrichess deformation, a pest harmful to the vegetable garden found in the wetlands. Passing the door of the restaurant, you will find a rustic and convivial setting that is ready for traditional cuisine. On the menu, "donkey balls" (specialty of poached eggs in a wine sauce and the berrichonne rig known as "donkey bust") or a house of house terrine, a calming head, a burst of Troyes, a duck net green pepper or a rooster to wine. In summer, the terrace on the water and the shade of trees is a privileged place for nature lovers. A bucolic address that will treat you as much to the tranquility of the marshes as to the flavors of the family cuisine and that will seduce you with its value for money. The restaurant also offers berrich and poetic dinners.

LA GARGOUILLE

French cuisine restaurant €€€

3 reviews

A charming establishment nestled at the top of Bourbonnoux Street at the foot of the cathedral, offering bistronomy-type cuisine such as the calamitous egg-paneled egg, with fresh and homemade products. Here, the only person who stands up is the gargouille, which looks upstairs, above the chimney, on the beautiful dining room. Stone walls, wooden beams, wall slate as a map: The frame is both crude and chic, like the dishes. The semi-Italian half-Italian board (the small model is largely suitable for two gourmets) has put the Renard in appetite. Duck and root vegetables that followed him delighted. Cooking was perfect, tasty vegetables and charming presentation. As for the chocolate chip with his pistachio heart, he was literally falling. Renard dreams at night! Special mention also of the beef dish, perfectly cooked, and the black forest revisited, of great freshness and tasty. In short a good address, where the rates are justified by the delivery.

The frame is nice. Apparent stones and beams give a typical appearance in the restaurant. The tons of Bordeaux and yellow decorate pleasantly. This warm atmosphere is a pleasure. The map offers the abundance of choice. The chef gives us authenticity of traditional regional dishes, homemade cooking, like the calf head plays with a delicious beef sauce sauce, the anouthette to Sancerre wine or the cute filet to the berrich. Gourmets will also love the sweet note of home desserts. Nice terrace and generous cuisine. Weekends in summer, a plancha formula is proposed.

AUBERGE DES PELLETS

At the Pellets hamlet, which is located on the edge of the woods of the Borne, this hostel invites you to taste typical Berrichon dishes. The specialty of the house, the "Cheese" menu, offers a chavignolaise salad followed by a goat cassolette with the choice of lard, garlic sausage, Saint-Jacques or fish and then serves a clafoutis to goat and blueberries. The menu has greatly satisfied our appetite. Whether goat cheese refractories reassuring, the hostel offers other dishes: veal head, honey jam and green lentils of Berry, Jargeau andouillette… A slate that changes every fifteen days and proposes input/dish/dessert. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant is located in an old winery. The atmosphere is rustic, the tables are arranged around a preset and to perfect the décor of sewing machines, a large open fireplace and tools adorn the walls of old stones. We eat here on the right courtesy. On the wine side, the country drinks are privileged, especially the MENC-salon. In the beautiful days it is possible to eat under the thrusts in the heart of this village village.

In this historic street of Bourges, where a sweet perfume of yesteryear is liberated, you will not miss Walk des Remparts. Its ocean blue facade invites you to make a stopover inside the time of a family lunch or a dinner between friends. From the very first rays of sunshine, the regulars returned to the outside yard to taste the specialities that make the reputation of the place such as Berry Landes, a buckwheat cake topped with smoked duck breasts, goat, cream and fig jam, or Escargotine based on snails and garlic cream, parsley and almonds. Special mention at the Marais Galette: You will have the pleasure of tasting a buckwheat cake (and not a spoonful of wheat, which makes it possible for gluten allergy) with mushrooms, onions, artichokes and asparagus on an dried tomato conflict. The choice is wide, from the most classic to the most subtle, everyone finds its account. This family walk offers a child menu at 6 € and proof that our dear babies are welcome, a few children's books are available on the shelves. This restaurant located outside the village, in the middle of the forest, also seems timeless. We enter the lower room of a typical Sologne house with its brick, half-timbered walls, beams and chimney. The welcome is smiling and the cuisine is traditional, based on fresh and local produce. We serve you rooster in wine, game terrine, rabbit in cider, snail profiteroles, berrichon pâté (traditionally served at Easter) and of course goat cheese as a starter or on the cheese platter. The atmosphere is family. The room is quite small, it is better to book even if the terrace allows to welcome more guests during the summer season.

LE SAVOYARD

Oh, the total change by pushing the doors of this rustic and warm restaurant! The impression of being in skiing, in a chalet mountain-museum: wooden decor, old hooves and skates, grôles and bête skins. It is difficult to resist the appeal of the Savoyard fondue (twenty different: smoke, aux, mustard to old… and even champagne) to accompany with a glass of Apremont or mondeuse. Le Petit Smart chose to bend it to the bilberries of the mountains to open the appetite (very tasty) and diots (smoked sausages lusatian to red wine) while his son tranquillement tranquillement two beautiful hot entries: Terre mashed potatoes (hum!), tartiflette and crepe with sugar… À la carte, the Matafan (these big pancakes and cheese), the Burgundian fondue and traditional rot (which can generously feed one or two people to choose). Prices are very soft, except for hearty hot entrances. The dessert card is wide: ice cuts, pancakes and cakes. Still need to have enough appetite! Bravo for the welcome of children (5,50 € the base for switches), the high chairs and the changing table and the beautiful space of amenities behind the dining room, hyperpropre! A real good time.
