ANGEL CHAPEL CASTLE
Read moreSituated on the Jacques Coeur road, this feudal castle was fortified by Gillon de Seuly, founder of the city, at the end of the th century. Surrounded by a moat, surrounded by round towers, a dungeon and dominated by a pond, it is furnished and inhabited but opened to the public. Count Jean of Ogny, owner of the castle, opened his doors and commented on his own visit to the residence where the lords of La Chapelle-d'Angillon, princes of Boisbelle, but also Sully, Princess of Albret, Princess of Kleve (who served as a model to Ms de La Fayette for her famous novel), Gonzague prince of Boisbelle or the Duke from Nevers. Inside, the visit allows you to see all the pieces, distributed by narrow stairs. This romantic castle houses a unique and quite astonishing collection in Europe on the th century Albania. Sunday mass can be seen in the beautiful castle chapel traditionally celebrated every Sunday at 10 pm. Reception is worthy of the great hospital tradition. The passions of the owners animate these places and they will make you discover their coups. The castle can be rented for weddings or other ceremonies.

PANELED HOUSES
Read moreBourbonnoux Street is urbanised in the th century outside the Gallo-Roman rampart and follows the route. Until the beginning of the th century, it was a very important artery of the city, and many artisans and traders lived there. The wooden houses on this street, most reconstructed after the fire of the Madeleine in 1487, were on street and often two floors - modified later. They are constructed in corbel on enlarged pole, limiting the projection of the floor on the ground floor. The half-timbered houses of Bourges houses are in diamond or cross-André. As is still the case, the ground floor is usually occupied by a shop - finally - followed by a service room - the kitchen - at the back. The rooms are on the floor, and they can be accessed by a screw staircase in the side corridor leading to the courtyard and the workshop. The Gothic style focuses on poles and beams. The houses are separated by stone fire streets.

THE CASTLE OF THE STUARTS
Read moreThe Stuarts Castle has the privilege of building in our memory an architectural meeting dating from the Renaissance. It was built by Robert Stuart, the first captain of the Scottish guard and lord of Aubigny from 1508 to 1540, which was widely illustrated during the Italian campaigns. A part is now dedicated to the city hall. Not to mention the Auld-Alliance Memorial, which thus perpetuates the sealed pact between the kingdoms of France and Scotland. You can also admire the tapestries of Aubusson by Louis XIV in Louise de Keroualle. Restorations took place since, especially the south wing at the end of the nineteenth century. It has been classified as Historic Monument since 1862, thank you certainly Mérimée!

SAN MARTIN CHURCH
Read moreBuilt in the thirteenth century, then restored and enlarged at the end of the xve and early sixteenth century, this church dedicated to Saint Martin de Tours has unsuspected riches. In addition to its richly decorated nef, the impressive building has a set of fine, polychrome statues for many of them. The church also displays epitaphes of the late sixteenth century as well as paintings painted somewhat singular where pastel is referred to. The retable of the sixteenth century evoking a Tomb and a Virgin of Pity of the seventeenth century are upsetting, and these carved woods question whether or they are not neophyte. Good example of a hidden richness of this enchanting Sologne.
