After that, it took the name of "Nerly" and finally became "la Négly" in 1807. Nowadays, Jean Paux-Rosset and his family take care of the beautiful development of this vineyard. His cellar will welcome you for an unforgettable tasting with a background of wine stories. The estate expanded in 2006 with the purchase of the neighbouring estate of La Boède and offers a range of sustainable wines.

After having created a pastry shop of great reputation in Paris, Armand and Nina went down to the region where the latter lived. It is through a magnificent patio that one reaches "gourmandises", a 100% artisanal pastry shop and its tempting windows. Armand, the Chef, accompanied by a pastry chef and a lathe maker, create beautiful and tasty cakes and high quality pastries made from French products, PDO butter and local seasonal fruits. Savouries (focaccia, original pizzas) and organic gourmet French groceries complete the picture.

Would you like to travel back in time to medieval times? In their shop full of character, Céline and Renaud make game and beer lovers happy. In total, they have nearly 350 references in both fields! In the shop, you will find beers of all nationalities, role-playing games and various accessories on the theme of the Middle Ages (medieval jewellery, drinking horns, olifants, clothes, mugs...). The duo also offers tasting evenings and game demonstrations. Finally, the curious can venture into the Antre de l'Echoppe, the shop's little brother, where it is possible to discover many beers and spirits.

Laurent Maynadier, winemaker, and Marie, his wife, oenologist, work their wine with great passion in this four centuries old estate, whose exposure to the sea allows the grapes to benefit from the sea spray all year round. Their bottle "Le Bel Amant" has conquered hearts and palates: its raspberry aromas and garrigue notes make it the darling of wine magazines! The manual harvest, the sorting by plot and the harvest at maturity give birth to authentic wines which are the reflection of a so characteristic soil.

It is on the hillsides of Narbonne that Henri and Louis Durand, father and son, will take you on a tour to discover the crushing of olives and the tasting of oils. The oil mill of the Mas de Geyssière produces an olive oil with fruity aromas, a reflection of the land and the varieties: lucques, olivière, picholine... The walk among the 1200 trees of the orchard (6 ha) is a unique moment. It is possible to buy products made on the spot such as: olive oil, olive paste with herbs, table olives... Excellent gift ideas.

According to Pierre Richard, "a good wine is first and foremost a good grape" and it is at the Domaine de l'Evêque that the actor found his happiness in 1986. In love with this authentic site, he made it his home and his wine estate. We can mention the Château Bel Evêque Red, aged in oak barrels, full-bodied, generous, with aromas of ripe fruit. Our favorite is his "Cuvée personnelle", a 100% Syrah single variety. These wines are a delicious accompaniment to festive meals and relaxing aperitifs.

L'Antre de l'Echoppe is both a factory and a beer tavern, located just a stone's throw from its big sister, the Echoppe Médiévale. Located next to the Place des Quatre-Fontaines, in Narbonne's pedestrianised city centre, the address has an amazing setting. Once you've passed the door, the steps will lead you into an atypical basement room with vaulted ceilings, exposed stones, vats, board games and an impressive quantity of beer! On the spot, a dozen draughts are proposed, as well as mead wines, juices and organic sodas.

La Ferme promotes short circuits and regional producers in this store, which is very popular with locavores. You'll find fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, traditional butchery, charcuterie, cheese by the slice and, on Fridays, trout and oysters. You'll also find delicatessen, chocolates, wines, cosmetics and many other products that are both ecological and economical. And don't forget the tastings organized all year round!

This beautiful 24 m green-and-yellow Dutchman, moored a stone's throw from the famous stone bridge, has been part of the bucolic landscape of Le Somail since 1927. From April to October, from 8am onwards, you can buy bread, pastries, wine, groceries and regional specialities selected by the owner, such as honey and cheeses. Boaters calling at the port appreciate its picturesque appearance and gourmet shop window. For breakfast, you can sit back and relax in the colorful chairs on the riverbank.

It is impossible to stroll, stay or reside here without tasting the "Tarte Gruissanaise", a local speciality made with puff pastry, frangipane, meringue and pine nuts, made by Alain Bernard. We also fell in love with the "Narbonnaise" with rum-soaked grapes, as well as the homemade "Croustade". A pure delight that we enjoyed intensely. Very good traditional or more original breads are also sold here, as well as very good pure butter pastries and a wide range of beautiful pastries of all sizes, which appealed to our sweet tooth.

Here is an exceptional site for the Salt which produces about 40,000 tons of white gold per year, and the salt makers, strong of an ancestral tradition, concoct for us a salt which received in 2018, the eco-label Natural Regional Park Value Natural! Come and discover it in this shop of local products, just like the bath salts with essential oils and different virtues (energizing, toning or relaxing). At the back of the shop, take a look at the salt ecomuseum (free entrance), an invitation to relive the salt harvest at the beginning of the 20th century.

In the heart of a landscape carved by the winds, on a terroir rich in Mediterranean civilization, Château l'Hospitalet spreads over 1000 hectares of garrigue and vines. Until 1561, the estate belonged to the monks of the Hospice de Narbonne, who grew vines here. Today, in addition to its prestigious, award-winning wines and superb tasting cellar, the Biodynamic estate is a place of art and creation. The 5-star hotel, spa, two swimming pools and gourmet restaurant make for a truly relaxing stay.

There are ice cream parlors and ice cream parlors and this one is in the category of super ice cream parlors. Located in front of the town hall square, this artisan ice cream maker offers his 100% homemade creations made from organic milk, organic fruits and organic sugar, in short, pure nature in your cone. Located in the heart of Narbonne, this wine merchant is first and foremost a passionate connoisseur of fine wines and French cinema, and his wife is a decorator. That's why here you're bound to find the unusual object or pretty bottle to buy. We appreciate the selection of wines exclusively from the region, rums, craft beers and gourmet preserves for aperitifs. In terms of decoration, 2022 was marked by the success of the wrought-iron emus, and Gilles has promised us other strange beasts for 2023... A warm welcome and sound advice.

At Planche et Tire-bouchon, you'll be drawn in by the delicious smells emanating from the tables. A few kilometers from Narbonne lies a breathtaking Cistercian jewel: the Abbey of Fontfroide. The vines as well as the land are immutable witnesses of past centuries: heir of a monastic viticultural work, installed at the edge of the scrubland, the 12 references of Fontfroide wines are at the same time complex, fruity, racy and tannic. On Thursday mornings, greengrocers, butchers, shellfish, olive and other succulent products are sold in the Cours Mirabeau. That same day the flower market is next door, quai Victor Hugo, with plants and cut flowers. Non-food products are sold on the Promenade des Barques and Cours Mirabeau on Thursday and Sunday mornings. On Tuesday mornings, the "fripe" and Saturday mornings the organic market offering meats, breads, poultry, honeys, cheeses, wines, fruits and vegetables are held Cours Mirabeau. A newcomer to Narbonne, Stéphanie Asco's highly attractive shop is a concentrate of good taste and gourmet delights, and it's because she doesn't want to be like everyone else that you'll find everything here that you won't find anywhere else. First of all, you'll discover a fine selection of wines from the region and beyond, all organic or biodynamic, but also spirits, gins, rums, digestifs... And what can we say about the selection of gourmet products such as Kalios smoked olive oil! A bit of literature and the very enlightened advice of Fanny the epicurean.

Brioche du Moulin is a bakery which is located at Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, within walking distance from the historical monuments. Here, bread is a passion but also a family story: the owners are former millers of Castelnaudary, now flour traders! Their daughters welcome you in the bakery to offer you various breads (with chestnut flour, with cereals, with figs, with whole wheat, in rustic way, etc), Viennese pastries but also some pastries and salted pleasures: sandwich, croque-monsieur, pizza... Then, for the breakfast, between two shops or simply to enjoy good bread, go to Brioche du Moulin!

Gilles Bourguignon, former rugby player of RCNM, has become a proven businessman but still keen on well-done job.  His company is one of the success stories of Narbonne. In his bakery, Gilles bakes bread, Viennese pastries and pastries found in his eight Aude stores under the brands L'Epi d'Ovalie and Le Fournil de Gilles. Here, the breads are baked in an oven heated by wood and worked in the baker tradition: sourdough bread, maize, organic, sliced, cereals and especially the unmissable spelt bread! You will also find, at any time of the day, Viennese pastries, pastries, salty and sweet pies, sandwiches, pizzas, slices of bread, wraps.... And for our greatest pleasure, there are the products from the region: Galette Occitane, Pignes de la Garrigue without forgetting the fabulous Narbonnaise! If you stop at Le Fournil, Route d'Espagne, you will find a small bar that is fitted out as well as a small terrace near the car park. The sandwiches are generous and the fish fresh, ideal for a short break as you leave work or on holiday route!

The Bubble café is a veritable institution in the heart of Saint-Pierre, where you can enjoy the sunny terrace facing the sea and the market in all seasons. You can enjoy cocktails, drinks and crêpes, as well as homemade waffles and bubble waffles, and smoothies made with ice cream and fresh fruit. Here's a temple to wine that's a dream come true, with its wide choice of products and attractive presentation. This cooperative cellar brings together 45 passionate winegrowers on 280 ha, all of whom have put their grape varieties on the map: Les Pujots, Les Vignerons, le Grussius, IGP Les Sens de la Garrigue, IGP Les Sens des Etangs and AOP La Clape Alta Vinha. You'll also find liqueur wines such as Muscat and Cartagène. The site's motto, by Leonardo da Vinci, pays tribute to the winemakers: "Happiness comes to men who are born where good wine is found."

In the heart of Narbonne, Le Temps du Chocolat offers a tasty journey around chocolate. Dark chocolate? Milk chocolate? We've fallen for Carré Or, 100% grand cru from the Dominican Republic. You'll find chocolate creations, gourmet baskets, themed chocolates (for the holidays), ballotins of all sizes... François Bodelle also offers delicious homemade macaroons with 68% chocolate, lime, Costa Rican milk chocolate praline and passion fruit. In fine weather, homemade ice creams are available.

Family property since 1804, this castle was built by the Viscounts of Narbonne in the ^12th century. On the 32 hectares of stony or clay-limestone soil, exposed on the south-eastern slopes of the Corbières maritime massif, we find the characteristic grape varieties of the Languedoc: syrah, grenache noir, carignan and mourvèdre. These soils produce wines of excellence, with low yields. Proof of this is the AOP Corbières Ermengarde, the flagship of the estate, which regularly wins awards, including two stars and the "coup de coeur" in the Hachette guide 2021.

Here's a village grocery store like you don't see much anymore: you'll find many dry products (cookies, rice, pasta), canned goods, some fresh produce, cold meats, but above all wines from local producers - don't hesitate to discover the selection! You can also buy handcrafted jewelry and postcards. It's the ideal place to tide yourself over after a hike in Bages and around the lake. Why not enjoy a coffee or glass of wine on the terrace? At the exit of Bize-Minervois on a pretty narrow road surrounded by scrubland, you will find this small artisanal exploitation. As soon as you arrive, you will be welcomed by the chickens and the pig of the sheepfold! Young and old alike will not want to miss the milking of the goats, every day from 5pm, a moment both fun and fascinating. Afterwards, stop by the store; Master Fox has fallen in love with the Ecu du pays cathare and the Caprichon, a soft goat cheese. A pleasant and greedy visit to share with your family.

This vineyard, classified in AOP Minervois, has different types of soil allowing the elaboration of vintages of a remarkable typicity. The estate's wines are available in white, rosé and red, and you can taste simple and deliciously fruity wines, as well as more complex, voluptuous and elegant wines: a nice taste tour in perspective. Fun tours of the vineyard and cellar, guided tastings, wine days, themed evenings, special events, the Château Cabezac team welcomes you to discover these jewels.

The Odyssey of the Olive Tree, within the Oulibo cooperative, combines staging, sound and light, educational tours, multimedia screens, sound effects... to discover the king tree of the Mediterranean. The 1h30 visit begins with the olive grove, then a sound and light show that retraces the stages of oil production will be shown. If you want to know the different virtues of the oil, the symbolism of the olive tree, the jobs related to the olive (scourtinerie...), this is the place to go.

In beautifully restored 18th-century stables, the Grand Celièr team welcomes you to discover the very best in local wines and regional produce. You'll be able to taste the wines of Argeliers' winegrowers free of charge, discover the story of Marcelin Albert, leader of the winegrowers' uprisings that shook the Midi in 1907, thanks to a video documentary detailing his life, and meet the team of enthusiasts who will share their favorite products with you. A must for all epicureans!

The Domaine is located at the gateway to the Hautes Corbières, in the Canton of Durban, at the entrance to the Paradis Valley. Established on the terraces of the Corbières since 1861, Jean-Pierre and Philippe Montanié are the proud successors. These talented winemakers practice a draconian selection of terroir and choose long macerations to extract the best from the grapes (color and aroma). So if you like elegant wines with character, come to the cellar for a tasting session. Our favorite is the Hauts de Serres cuvée.

Specializing in French cuisine, it offers dishes for lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a pleasant setting and the welcome is appreciated by customers. However, there are still few comments on the quality of the food, service, value for money and atmosphere. Some customers expressed disappointment with the quality of service and food. Others appreciated the friendly atmosphere and tasty dishes. It is advisable to consult customer reviews before deciding to visit this restaurant.

Claudine and Jean-Marie, winegrowers of the domain located between Aude and La Clape massif, have for value the respect of the earth and the vineyard that they work and treat in a reasoned way. They harvest the various grape varieties with great care, then carry out the elaboration leading to the bottling of excellent wines to be tasted in the cellar or at Lorena's Table, the restaurant of the domain. La Tour la Pagèze, it's finally 4 rooms and 4 gites welcoming you in this enchanting place.

Located in Fleury, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the Courtal Neuf winery is a must for wine lovers. Here you can sample a wide selection of quality, locally produced wines. Les Bugadelles estate and Château Auris Maison Albert are also part of SA de Courtal Neuf.

Located in the Massif de la Clape, the Château Laquirou vineyard is home to 40 hectares of organically grown vines, surrounded by 60 hectares of garrigue. The range of wines produced on site have sweet Latin names, with a rare cuvée; the Auréus Prestige, a premium red aged in oak barrels. Located on the wine road, in St-Pierre-la-Mer and leaning against the foothills of the La Clape massif, this estate produces on 21 ha an AOC La Clape wine, unique and authentic because soil and climate are conducive to its elaboration. The grapes are harvested by hand and in the cellar tradition and modernity are combined to get the best out of it. You will discover 3 distinct categories: "Young and fruity", light and fresh wines, "Terroir and character", red wines reflecting the local vineyard and the "Crus du Château", concentrated of the best. Château Moyau is a magnificent haven of rest.

Created in 1937, on the initiative of the producers of Fleury and Salles d'Aude, the cooperative cellar of La Vendémiaire counts today 185 members. Together, they produce nearly 70,000 hectoliters per year! A reference in the south of France, the independent winery offers a wide range of red, white and rosé wines. Some of them have made a place for themselves on the shelves of the general public, notably the vintages l'Insulaire, Anne de Rouch, La Garrigues red-rosé-white and Les Arbres Blanc. Their credo? "An art of living to share".

Gruissan is well known for its salt flats and its Fleur de Sel. On site, take a guided tour of the salt flats on foot or on an electric scooter to discover the secrets of this product and its know-how, without forgetting a visit to the eco-museum. If you want to bring back a souvenir, you have the choice: find the salt bar where you can choose between 24 varieties of large flavored salts in bulk, or head to the grocery store where you will find salt shakers and even a cosmetic section, with bath salts made in Gruissan!

In Gruissan, we know the white gold, but since a few years, the red gold is also produced there. TheCrocus Sativus has found in these Aude lands the ideal climatic conditions to bloom and offer a quality saffron. Marjorie and Cheick cultivate it on a small plot of land in an artisanal and reasoned way, without pesticides or fertilizers. La Mer à Boire is a craft microbrewery in Les Chalets, Gruissan, offering beers brewed on site: wheat beer, lager, amber, stout and IPA. These include "L'écume de mer", with a hint of citrus, "Oh soleil", "La Barberousse", aptly named, "La Macar" and "La Tram", as well as seasonal beers such as "la mer fruitée", with a different fruit each year, and an amber beer with spices for winter, "la mer givrée". Visit and small tasting session on site. Open bar for those wishing to relax over a good froth.

Marjorie awaits you in her ORGANIC grocery store on the port, for breakfast on the terrace or to take away. Every day, you'll find bread, pastries, Terre Adeline's organic ice creams, snacks, local seasonal fruit and vegetables, a gluten-free section and health/solar/care products. You'll also discover a tasting cellar where you can sample the region's fine organic wines and beers on the terrace. On Saturday mornings, you'll find Marjorie on the Gruissan market with her organic products.

Auntie Juliette, Edouard's great aunt and proprietor, was a farmer in Peyriac-Minervois. It was in her honor that our epicurean at heart created this cheese bar, creamery, delicatessen and wine cellar in the heart of old Gruissan. You'll find a fine selection of goat's cheeses, regional affineurs and various cheeses from France, as well as Occitan specialities on the delicatessen side. Tastings of platters and tapas accompanied by regional wines or local craft beers will delight you. Platters can be made to order

The mouth-watering aroma of grilled free-range chickens was what drew us to Caroline and Roxanne's Rôtisserie. Here you'll find exactly what you need for a successful "plan B": roasted meats, but also delicious catered dishes: paella, couscous... everything's good, and in season, there's a dish for every day, just ask for the menu. You can take your dishes home with you, or sit out on the terrace. Caroline also offers aperitif platters to order, and in the store you'll find an attractive selection of local produce.

Château Le Bouïs is one of those estates that leave no one indifferent. The vaulted cellar, combining tradition and modernity, is one of the largest and most beautiful in the region. It's in this setting that you'll taste the château's warm, elegant AOP La Clape wines. The grape varieties grown on the 35-hectare estate, which is currently undergoing organic conversion, benefit from a gentle, low-intervention winemaking method. A free self-guided tour is available every day to help you discover this estate with its three hundred years of history.

The Gruissan Oil Mill, located on the outskirts of the Massif de la Clape, owes its existence to the true passion of its owner, Frédéric Granier, an olive farmer since 1996; who created the Gruissan mill in 2009. Specialized in the plantation of the olive tree up to the sale of finished products through an assiduous and meticulous control. Thanks to their diversity of character, the olive groves planted near the mill allow the elaboration of subtle blends as well as varietal vintages. Lucques, Olivière, Bouteillan, Aglandeau and Picholine, that is to say about 1 800 trees whose green fruits are found in the productions elaborated by Frederic Granier. There are no less than 20 references of olive oils that the producer offers in his store. The store reflects the traditions of the South: many regional and Provencal products are presented here, in addition to the mill's own productions. In addition to the wide range of olive oils, you will be able to indulge yourself with olive oil-based cosmetics, shower gels and soaps, as well as honey and other souvenir items and gift ideas (hand towels, tea towels, potholders, gourmet baskets, etc.). The olive grower will be happy to show you around his workshop and his mill: you will then be able to discover what goes into the making of his local products. Evelyne and Aude, two endearing sisters, offer a warm welcome, sharing their passion for Languedoc wines and other gourmet products. They offer tastings of fine wines selected from small producers, accompanied by tapas, charcuterie and cheeses. In addition to bottled and bulk wines, you'll find organic craft beers, fruit juices, olives, olive oils, seafood, salts, organic jams, honeys, champagnes, blanquettes de Limoux and gift boxes.

The estate is certified organic (AB) since 2012and equipped with solar panels. It is located in a dry and windy area with sea spray that refreshes the vines planted on a particularly dry soil, thus allowing to obtain grapes with splendid concentrations. The estate is located on the best lands of the plain from La Palme to Fitou. As Domitius said in 118 B.C.: "Here are the stones, the dryness and the wind, but we dominate the Mare Nostrum which bathes the Roman shores".

A talented oenologist, Delphine offers a range of elegant, refined organic beers crafted in the purest tradition, with an eco-responsible, environmentally-friendly approach. Blonde or brown?
