Owner's Message

At the gateway to the Clape massif, the Château le Bouïs has been open for nearly 300 years. La Clape has more than 2000 years of know-how in the art of wine making. The quality of its soils and its wines have earned it an international reputation. It is on the edge of this exceptional site, on the remarkable terroir of the Corbières, that the 49 hectares of the estate are located, facing south and the sea. In order to allow guests to appreciate the tasty delights of this calm and enchanting place, part of the estate has been converted into a restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the vineyards. Guest rooms have been created in the former mansion of the castle, the "Maison des Demoiselles" to extend the stay. And to add a touch of character, the Grange du Château produces two very high quality wines.
