This beautiful 24 m green-and-yellow Dutchman, moored a stone's throw from the famous stone bridge, has been part of the bucolic landscape of Le Somail since 1927. From April to October, from 8am onwards, you can buy bread, pastries, wine, groceries and regional specialities selected by the owner, such as honey and cheeses. Boaters calling at the port appreciate its picturesque appearance and gourmet shop window. For breakfast, you can sit back and relax in the colorful chairs on the riverbank.

LE SOMAIL est un petit port pittoresque et insolite, à l'image de cette épicerie flottante, une jolie péniche aux couleurs vives, jaune et verte, où l'on vous accueille avec sourire et complaisance, même si vous n'y allez que par curiosité, mais où plaisanciers et touristes de passage trouvent l'essentiel à des prix plus que corrects.

un incontournable du hameau du Somail, l'épicerie flottante en face du non moins fameux pont du Somail. Cette péniche est une institution et c'est le seul commerce épicerie autorisé dans le village. On y trouve pratiquement de tout, une façon très originale de faire ses courses !
