Launched in 2014, the Rock'Alibi festival celebrated its 4th edition in 2018. A festival of civic engagement, this event was created by the city to involve young people in the life of the city. Two months before the event, young people aged 12 to 25 participate in numerous discovery workshops around the festival. They can write a song with an artist, discover professionals in communication, security, events... The young passengers then participate in the smooth running of the festival on D-Day. The Rock'Alibi festival starts at 2pm with a large village of citizen engagement where many associations meet. It continues in the evening with a beautiful musical program. As a tribute to the tradition in the United States where the winner was given a small golden glove, the Biarritz Athétic Club created the now famous Gant d'Or de Cesta Punta some twenty years ago, which delights amateurs and neophytes alike. Here we go again for the 6th edition! A very friendly trail located in Barcus, a small village in the Pyrenean foothills, on the border of the Basque Country and Bearn.

Organized by Kansas Dance Association, this event reveals country culture in all its facets. Of course there will be dance demonstrations and animations where the public can improvise a few steps, but also many stands and playful workshops like the mechanical rodeo, all in a 100% Western decor. The festivities will start on Friday, June 22, starting at 8 p. m.

The Medieval Days of Monflanquin are known as the white wolf in Lot-et-Garonne. It must be said that the historical setting of this bastide lends itself well to such an event. This former railway station, located in the heart of Biarritz, has been completely renovated and is just a 5-minute walk from other convention centers. Behind its facade, 1,400 seats with a 600 m² stage and a 127^m² screen and another 230 seats, ten rooms from 50 m² to 310 m² over 4,000^m² and a terrace and reception hall of 310 m² each. It is the venue for special events and festivals, making it one of the most sought-after venues in Aquitaine. With over 100 shows to its name, it also plays host to the stars and groups of the moment.

Vibrations and emotions are shared with this festival, which takes place at the end of June and offers astonishing musical experiences around the theme of percussion. The festival takes place at the Hédas, but events also take place at other venues in Palais (Foirail, media libraries) and beyond (Maison de la Musique in Montardon, Espace Daniel Balavoine in Bizanos). A 7,200 m² modular exhibition center for a variety of events: exhibitions, fairs, trade shows, artistic activities... The convention center features a 500-seat auditorium and several meeting rooms. Ideally located just a few minutes by car from the city center, train station and main roads, the site welcomes over 100 events and 160,000 visitors and delegates every year. This unique annual event in France has just celebrated its 80th anniversary. Here's an event not to be missed if you're in Arcachon with the family during the summer. Every Wednesday, the Arcamômes festival takes place in the enchanting setting of the Théâtre de Verdure in the Parc Mauresque. Live shows for children aged 4 to 12: circus, music, magic, theater, your little ones (and you) will be delighted by these performances, which come to life at dusk for an even more fabulous and poetic side! Admission is free, and no reservation is necessary!

While the Feria de Dax attracts thousands of festival-goers every year, there's plenty to do for sports enthusiasts too. The Feriascapade attracts almost 4,000 athletes every year! This 10 km race, a qualifier for the French championship and part of the Landes road challenge, follows a flat course with no major difficulties around Dax. It is accessible to disabled athletes. The ^26th Feriascapade takes place at the Maurice Boyau municipal stadium. Non-licensed participants will need a medical certificate.

This race takes place over two days, in teams of seven runners who together cover almost 200 kilometers over a weekend. Locals have been running for generations, and this annual competition is a way of perpetuating this tradition celebrating collective and individual effort, and the festive spirit! The course takes in different stages and distances to accommodate runners. From 10-kilometer stages to longer events for experienced runners, there's something for everyone. On your marks, get set, go!

The 5-Star event in Pau is an exceptional annual event, attracting the world's elite riders and horses for 2 simultaneous competitions. As the only 5-star eventing competition in France, it ranks among the world's top 6 equestrian events. Often referred to as an equestrian triathlon, it puts equestrian skills to the test in dressage, show jumping and cross-country. The driving category is just as spectacular, offering a captivating marathon. The event also offers a festival of entertainment, with pony christenings, carriage rides, a gourmet area and a village of exhibitors. Each year, 40,000 visitors are attracted.

Pau-Rébénacq-Gourette: this is the triangle of the three stages of this extraordinary triathlon! A fabulous, awe-inspiring event, for which you have to run 19 kilometers, pedal 35 and ski 3. The race celebrates its ^37th edition in 2024, and is a legendary event in the Béarn region. Hundreds of participants compete solo or in teams, and the race is open to all: handisport, exchange between nationalities, crew exchange, early start for women. The day ends with a festive meal that brings everyone together.
