Touskiflot is both a sporting and a festive event! On the Gave de Pau, the craziest boats offer up a mythical race! The most incredible, handcrafted rafts battle it out in a non-stop, good-humored battle. Between 3 and 7 people put on the show, with participants showing off their inventive rafts and disguises. Between Pont d'Espagne and Laroin, the crew have a field day! For the public, it's two days of festivities with entertainment, meals... The whole weekend's fun! Sunday's race remains the highlight of the event initiated by the Léo Lagrange center.

This run, which can also be done as a fast walk, is reserved for women. It's an event that celebrates solidarity, women's emancipation and the promotion of health. Every year, thousands of women gather in the streets of Pau to run together. The 6 km course winds through the city in a friendly atmosphere, with the aim of raising funds for local charities (breast cancer, domestic violence, etc.). In addition, the Foulée des Enfants is a 900 m course for budding runners. Whether you're an individual, a student or a corporate challenge, this is the place to be.

A traditional sport of the Gascons, the Landes race is still the main event of the village festivals. Every year in Biarritz, harnessed and mounted trotting races take place throughout July from 8pm on a renovated 803 m sand track with right-hand rope. The meeting comprises 13 evenings, culminating in the Grand Prix de la Ville organized by the Société des Courses au Trot de Biarritz, chaired by C. Hassenforder-Chabriac. Each evening, races take place between 8.10pm and 11.30pm. The racecourse opens at 7pm, and the pari-mutuel betting windows open at 7:45pm.

Every year in the month of July, the Golf de Biarritz Le Phare welcomes the most important and oldest of the French events reserved for amateurs. Played over 4 days and 72 holes, it is the amateur competition which is closest to the professionals.

It is every year since 2015, the meeting of the best professional surfers on the planet! The International Professional Surfing Competition (QS 3.000), female and male of the World Surf League. This event was born from the common will of the city of Anglet and the WSL to put the town and the Basque Coast at the heart of the professional surfing qualifying circuit. It is now one of the most important events of the European season. The best pros come to compete on the famous spots of the Atlantic Ocean.

"Garonne en fête" celebrates the Garonne River. On this day, the Agen conurbation creates an event around water. Not only sports, but also culture and local delicacies are in the spotlight. The commune of Anglet has managed to develop its urban area to encourage outdoor activities. Benefiting from almost daily sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the town has opened up to the practice of cycling. The seafront is bordered by a cycle path, called Boulevard des Plages, which is 4.5 km long. Starting from the esplanade Yves-Brunaud, it goes up along the eleven beaches of the city, up to the beach of La Barre. From there, you can join the Adour river and pedal towards Bayonne on another cycle path along the water. The Boulevard des Plages can also be reached on foot. A total of almost 18 km have been laid out today. It's up to you to choose which beach you want to stop at!
