In Marmande, various events to highlight the clowning arts: parade, exhibition, theatrical performances...

In February, a unique festival is held in Marmande. "MondoClowns" was created by Thierry Planès, a native of the region who is also an author, actor, painter, sculptor and, for the occasion, Monsieur Loyal. Performances on the stage of the Théâtre Comoedia, parades in the streets, exhibitions: the festival takes on a varied air. Clown artists come from all over the world to take part. There's plenty of laughter, but poetry is never far away. No doubt the public will once again flock to the ^9th edition in 2025.
