Read moreThe 3rd edition of the Festival Ciné-Notes, which takes place at the Grand Théâtre, was cancelled in 2020 because of the coronavirus. It was dedicated to "Monsters and Creatures" with Jean-Jacques Annaud as guest of honor. On the program was a symphonic concert, but also an exceptional film-concert of E.T. the Extra-terrestrial by Steven Spielberg with the sublime music of John Williams live. To open the festival, some of the greatest film music should have been performed by the Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra: Gremlins, Les Dents de la mer, Jurassic Park, Frankenstein, La Mouche, La Belle et le Bête... This festival covers a wide range of very famous films with emblematic music, but also several eras of cinema, thus reaching a vast audience, both novice and music-lover. The programme also includes film lectures, film screenings with musical introductions, a jazz concert, etc.
