CHURCH
Read moreThe neo-Romanesque church was built in the 1868 th century to replace a Romanesque church of the th century, a large part of which collapsed in. The former, which was wanted to save, was repaired and consolidated many times but in vain. The new was built twice, in 1873 and 1885 (choir and belfry), funded by the parishioners'subscriptions. Its majestic dimensions, warm colours and interior decoration offer great interest. The sculptures of the choir and capitals are rich and varied.

This 12th century church, which borders the road that climbs to the Porte pass, has been altered twice, notably in the 19th century with the help of the monks of the Grande Chartreuse. To see: a small stained glass window from the 16th century bearing the symbol of the Carthusian order, an element of a gilded wooden altar from the 17th century, a wooden Virgin from the 18th century, the stained glass windows created by the painter Arcabas.
