THE CHAPEL OF VINDRY
A southern chapel with a series of ex-votos testifying to the benefits of the place, and featuring a bell tower-wall and campanile.
From Tarare, drive towards Pontcharra-sur-Turdine, then Saint-Loup. The Vindry chapel is on the left, just before the junction with the D3. With its bell tower and campanile, this discreet 17th-century edifice is almost reminiscent of a southern chapel. With its gallery and the gentle backdrop of the surrounding countryside, it exudes a serenity that invites you to pause for a moment, perhaps to meditate and admire the paintings by Josserand. Inside, a series of ex-votos testify to the benefits of the place!
