Guided tour of the abbey of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, a site full of history, exhibitions on Savoyard culture during the summer.
With your guide, discover the rich history of this building, founded in 1144, with the arrival of Ponce de Faucigny and the canons of Saint-Augustin. Sold in part in the 18th century to the engineer Albanis Beaumont, the Cochet family held an inn there at the beginning of the 19th century with the preserved part. It is in 2000 that the abbey house is acquired by the Department. During the summer, an exhibition invites to explore the Savoyard culture in this magnificent setting.

Un espace à découvrir en famille
Un bel espace qui accueille des expositions temporaires. Un joli jardin dernière. Diverses activités familiales proposées par l'office du tourisme située juste avant l'abbaye. A découvrir sur la route du fer a cheval.
