We make good food when we are driven by passion. This is the case of Bruno, an excellent craftsman of taste passionate about the region, and his wife Hélène. In their gourmet store in the main street of Embrun, these two enthusiasts offer us the best regional products: delicious tourtons from Champsaur, jams from Briançon, a fine selection of local wines or delicatessen, olive oils, cold cuts, but also cheeses from here and elsewhere. The company, founded by the Rolland family, began in 1998 with the artisanal production of génépi liqueur, then expanded over the years to create other plant- and fruit-based liqueurs. On-site, the Les Clarines store sells the spirits produced by the liqueur factory, as well as artisanal products from the Pays de Savoie region, such as jams, charcuterie, cheeses and honeys.

The oil mill, restored after 40 years of inactivity, is undoubtedly one of Chanaz's most important sites. Built in 1868, it now allows, by returning to service, to discover a profession of the past, in danger of disappearing, that of millmaker. The mill's bucket wheel, tirelessly driven by the water of the Biez, sets in motion the gears that turn the millstone... Nuts and hazelnuts deliver through this mechanical game the precious oil that gourmets appreciate. It is always good to know that in addition to their refined taste, these oils also have preventive properties regarding cardiovascular diseases....

With a name so emblematic of the region, this convenience store smells local. It is located on the main road. It offers many cheeses, local cold cuts, local alcohols such as genépi and wines. As a guarantor of the gourmet tradition of good regional products, Grenier Savoyard is innovating by installing 70 self-service refrigerated distribution racks of regional products at its La Roche-sur-Foron site. Ferme de la Correrie invites you to enjoy an authentic experience at the heart of a Baujue farm. You can choose between a self-guided tour of the farm and a guided tour. The farm specializes in the production of farmhouse cheeses and also sells charcuterie and regional products. You can also take part in a full tour of the farm, during which you'll learn about the dairy cows and goats, meet the different farm animals and even watch them being milked.

L'Alpage offers a cosy, rustic atmosphere typical of mountain chalets. Well, we knew one or two good jokes about the Swiss and snails, including that of the snail who escaped from the breeding… but there we are in France, in a serious breeding that guarantees the quality of the animals that we already cooked— snails of snails to persillade, croquilles— shells made of embossed paste— laminated, in shells or in the natural fabric. Saint-Nicolas-de-Myre is a Catholic church in Jausiers. It is Baroque in style, but with a less theatrical influence than the Baroque churches of Italy, Austria and Spain. The church was built around 1670 and is considered the largest Baroque church in the Durance region. Dedicated to St. Nicholas of Myra, it was consecrated in 1686. The church has been listed as a historic monument since 1921. It is owned by the commune of Jausiers. The church of Saint-Nicolas-de-Myre is an important place of worship in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region. Visitors can admire its Baroque architecture and discover its rich history.
