For 4 days, this festive event brings together tens of thousands of Harley enthusiasts and fans from all over Europe. In addition to the rock concerts and other entertainment that get the little resort into a frenzy, numerous rides are organized in the region by local clubs: a rich program for a festival that is no less rich. Over 10,000 motorcycles and 30,000 people are expected to descend on Morzine Avoriaz in July for this year's "pure rock" festival. It promises to be another great time!

The figure of the high mountain guide has been mythical since 1821, when the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix was created. Created in 1924, the relief fund helps guides and their families. To feed it and to honour its famous guides, the Company of the guides created the Festival of the guides: all the valley of Chamonix Mont-Blanc pays a tribute to them during 4 days of festivals and songs. On August 15th, the guides parade in the costume worn by Jacques Balmat in 1786 during the first ascent of Mont Blanc.

In recent years, Annecy's landscapes have been enriched by artistic works linking elements of the local heritage, starting with nature and architecture. Year after year, summer after summer, a perennial trail of artistic and landscape installations has been built up in the urban area. There are some twenty works to be discovered as you stroll through the city with a poetic eye. A "sustainable" festival that renews itself every season to change our perception of our environment, inspiring all passers-by to preserve and improve it. Created in 1975, the International Comics Festival of Chambéry is the^second oldest festival of its kind in France after Angoulême. 20,000 visitors, 60 authors and three days of celebration... It welcomes artists of great notoriety, also reveals talents and makes the happiness of a public that rushes to meet cartoonists and scriptwriters and to shop. The elephant, symbol of the city, always appears on the poster entrusted each year to a different artist.

For all those who like to hunt, find the rare object, who are looking to tinker... The Grande braderie d'automne in Chambéry is one of the most important flea markets in the region. Every year 50,000 visitors and more than 2,500 exhibitors settle in the city centre of the City of the Dukes. Good deals, vintage items, favorites and other finds to complete a collection, replace a lost item..... redecorate a room... Toys, furniture, crockery.... Trinkets, accessories, books... All that remains is to negotiate.

Take the plunge when the Albigny bay turns into a giant swimming pool for an exceptional race created in 1931 by the Annéciens Dolphins club. the program includes 4 races: 1 km and 2.4 km for experienced swimmers, 5 km for open water swimmers and the Holy Grail, with the 10 km race limited to 80 competitors. The kind of event, like the marathon, that you should do at least once in your life after having trained properly (it is a real sporting event). A popular festival that attracts a large audience around Lake Annecy.

The prestige of Megève would dream more than a passion for riding… yet the price of ski lifts is often unaffordable. If your portfolio denies you access, the area has 40 kilometres of Nordic ski slopes, fortunately more accessible. Their classical or alternating lines wind between ribs, replats, levelling and bois. Beginner or confirmed cross-fertilization, expand at your pace thanks to green, blue, red and black tracks.
