Here is a municipality that has a name.... From across the Channel, since this is Saint John Beverley, who died in 721, and whose relics were imported into Brittany. Located in the heart of the Lanvaux moors, Saint-Jean bears witness to its age through the menhirs, dolmens and tumulus that it still jealously guard. It is a canton to be discovered during walks on the crests of the Lanvaux moors, and which will make you appreciate the charms of the numerous chapels sown on its lands. Saint-Jean-Brévelay had General de Gaulle as an illustrious visitor in the 20th century, during the inauguration of a monument to the Resistance fighters: indeed, the town, occupied during the Second World War, actively participated in the Resistance.
