Brittany is a charming small village situated on the banks of the Vilaine, 6 km from Pénestin. The Old Roche fishing and recreational harbour has 141 moorings. It is animated from October to March by the fleet of glass fishermen (young eels coming back to rivers). In summer, it is a mooring appreciated for its calm and safety by a hundred recreational boats. Brittany is also a resort with quiet charm: attraction of the banks of the Vilaine and proximity to the beaches. Walkers, cyclists and riders can enjoy the marked hiking paths that connect the Grand Brière to Pénestin and pass through Brittany. Besides the port of Old Roche, with its old thatched roofs, other places deserve attention: the Manoirs and Kerbili houses, the old mills, the presbytery, Corolais, Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette chapel…
