This rural commune which extends on both sides of the Blavet river takes its name from its heritage jewel, the abbey of Bon-Repos. This is not its only wealth. To the north, the moors of Liscuis, of wild beauty, offer beautiful walks and a magnificent view of the valley. Three very well preserved covered paths nestle there. To the south, the noble forest of Quénécan shelters the former ironworks village of the Forges des Salles. This private forest estate, criss-crossed by four hiking trails, is open to the public from March to the end of September. The neighbouring village of Gouarec, with its covered market and buildings made of dark schist stone, is very attractive.
