The closer you get to the sea, the more you find these towns and villages of the kind, white houses with gray slate. Callac, though well grounded in the land, is a seawater village in its first, but typically Breton indoors. It is also the capital of the Scottish epagneul. Walk on foot to Bot-Mel site. Do not miss to visit the Tannac Tannery and nearby, Pont-Melvez and its remarkable old church. Bulat-Pestivien, a simple small village whose church, once again, is superb, and where the town hall seems to be a special house. Tronjoly oak and Clos Bras manor are also worth a visit. At the place Pestivien, a pretty little chapel. Towards Rostrenen, another chapel to see, that of Burthulet. A last church to visit in the corner, that of Mael-Pestivien, with the view of the surrounding area. Beautiful Callac plateau road in La Chapelle, for pictures of panorama. Arrived at La Chapelle, an instructive visit to the Forest Discovery Center, which organizes excursions discovered from April to December at 02 96 21 60 31.
