With fewer than 130 residents, Preydana would be an invisible spot on the road if it weren't for several places that delight passing tourists and hikers. The Pub and Bed & Breakfast Pub in the Paddock, or St. Columba Falls Hotel, which is known for its beer-drinking pig, dates from 1880. It is the oldest surviving building in this area, which was settled in 1875 and developed through tin mining. In addition to this atypical stop, you can also visit the Pyengana Dairy Farm, famous for its dairy products, and St Columba Falls, which are among the highest in Tasmania.
