Travel Guide Ezerani

Erezani/Езерани has around 130 inhabitants (all Macedonians) and is part of the municipality of Resen. The village lies 8 km south of Resen via Carev Dvor (Царев Двор).With its name meaning "near the lake" in the local dialect, this small village is the best place to observe the flora and fauna of the great Lake Prespa, and in particular the birds (curly pelicans and large waders in particular). However, Erezani is located more than 6 km from the lake's northern shore. In fact, the village has changed location several times, depending on water levels. Today, it stands on the edge of a richly biodiverse marshland.
