Created on January1, 2018, this brand new commune is the result of the merger of four villages: Vertus, Oger, Gionges and Voipreux. Gionges is located on the plateau of the natural region "La Brie des Etangs" and is home to a beautiful 12th and 16th century church, Saint Fergeux, which combines Romanesque and Gothic styles. As for Voipreux, it is a very old commune, whose origins go back to the Neolithic period. This ancient fortified town in the center of a medieval pagus owed its importance to its ford crossing the tributary of the Berle. You can still admire its 12th century church and its Merovingian necropolis
