Just 20 kilometers from the capital lies this wild and sumptuous national park, with dense pine forests home to families of elk and deer, and open lakes with rocky shores. Tyresta sits on a rocky plateau formed 1,800 million years ago and, to this day, remains a landscape untamed by the hand of man. The park covers 5,000 hectares, including 55 kilometers of hiking trails. Don't forget your flashlight! You can book guided tours lasting between 1 and 2 hours, costing between SEK 300 and SEK 1,500.
