This small municipality of 113,000 inhabitants is part of the county of Stockholm and is in some ways considered a suburb of the capital. Until the end of the 19th century, the municipality consisted mainly of natural areas and farms, but with the arrival of the railroad and the creation of a station, the place became considerably urbanized, modernized and densely populated. The urban center thus developed around the station, and the expansion of the commune has not really stopped since. On the other hand, nature remains in the spotlight since beautiful parks and nature reserves are within easy reach!
