In the south of the Stockholm Archipelago, the island of Fjärdlång is a natural reserve with a very rich ornithological life. Its nature is beautiful, with its pine forests and hills. Wooden houses are painted in red. We bathe around the island, on beaches with large, soft and grey rocks. Fjärdlång, who now belongs to the city of Stockholm, was once the private property of Gustave Vasa. It is said that a famous and pirate dreaded named Blom made island his abode. You can spend the night at the youth hostel, an ancient house in red wood where you can rent boats and kayaks.
