In the south of the Vallès Oriental, this modern, highly industrial city, at the crossroads of multiple communication routes, was until 1936 a district of Sant Fost de Campsentelles. It preserves an interesting landscape and agricultural heritage, starting with its old stone farmhouses, such as Masia Can Baqué, Can Pere Gil or Mas de la Llebre. The town centre has a popular and lively atmosphere, with numerous tapas bars and bistros frequented at all hours of the day by a Catalan clientele. Every Thursday, the street market brings the old town centre to life. The parish church, dedicated to Sant Josep, dates from the 1950s.
