Divided into several urban nuclei, including Mosqueroles, Santa Fe de Montseny and La Costa del Montseny, this municipality is dominated by the peaks of Les Agudes (1 706 metres) and Turó de l'Home (1 712 metres), the highest points of the Montseny Natural Park. To the north-east of Fogars de Montclús, the valley of Santa Fe, the gateway to the Turó de l'Home, offers one of the most enchanting views of the Nature Park, which is very popular with walkers, especially in spring and even more so in autumn, when the forest is adorned with a sumptuous monochrome of shimmering colours. In the Mosqueroles area, the Masia Mariona, surrounded by lush vegetation, presents an exhibition on the scientific work and patronage of Rafael Patxot. The Fogars de Montclús information centre is a good starting point for visiting the area.
