In the valley of the river Tordera, with the Montseny as a backdrop, Sant Esteve de Palautordera has, in addition to its lush green surroundings dotted with old farmhouses of character, a full cultural agenda. Its small organic shops and restaurants surfing the slowfood wave will appeal to hipsters and nature lovers. The village is home to a beautiful church of Romanesque origin and two castles, the impregnable fortress of Montclús, now in ruins, and the castle of Fluvià, which still has a magnificent Lombard chapel. On the hiking side, you can take a walk along the idyllic river Tordera. A local path, "el cami", also allows you to visit the two castles of the village.
