Travel Guide Going Am Wilden Kaiser

A village at an altitude of 795 metres, Going offers everything the region has to offer: pleasant accommodation, good restaurants and, above all, the omnipresence of nature for summer and winter pleasures. From the village of Going, for example, experienced hikers can take the "Imperial Crown" trail: in five stages and 65 km, this moderately-difficult excursion circles the Wilder Kaiser, offering sublime panoramic views of the Grossglockner and mountain lakes. Lake Going was voted Tyrol's most beautiful natural lake by an international jury. In summer, the water can reach 24 degrees Celsius.
