The town's name comes from Chaltenbach. No fewer than three chapels can be found in Kaltenbach. Numerous magnificent views over the Ziller valley. A popular destination for the whole family. Kaltenbach is also a starting point for hikes to the famous Kaltenbacher Wasserfall or the Harter Schleierwasserfall, the highest waterfall in the Ziller valley. Don't miss the old railway line!
