After the ravine of Trois-Bassins, we enter the commune of Trois-Bassins whose village is located higher, at 800 m altitude. Its link with the sea is in this narrow coastal strip composed of steep cliffs overlooking a beach accessible a few meters below. The area is wild, the coast largely indented, and there is no longer the immense and protective lagoon, but an intermittence of rocks and lovely discreet coves bordered by white sand.
