Charming city of almost 38 000 inhabitants, its origins date back to the 10th century. It is a beautiful historical city with a charming harbor surrounded by historical facades and a square with its famous town hall. Rumor has it that it is a Hanseatic city, but this was never officially the case. However, a walk in the center is enough to find all the signs of a certain opulence. The city is known as a merchant city and the market is still held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The inner harbor is incredibly photogenic and will seduce you at a glance. Spend at least one afternoon there.
