The historic town of Torredembarra is not lacking in heritage, without neglecting the pleasures of the mouth. Lovers of architecture will be well served, between the church of Sant Pere, the medieval castle, the hospital-residence Pere Badia and the modernist house of Antoni Roig. There is no shortage of good places to eat in Torredembarra either, with a clear predominance of seafood dishes due to the proximity of the sea and the fishing port, and the sale of the day's fish at the fish market guarantees the freshness of the products! But Torredembarra is also known for having one of the last natural beaches on the coast, with its ecosystem of dunes and marshes with amazing flora and fauna, Els Muntanyans, which it shares with the municipality of Creixell. You can lose yourself in the wind in this natural space, as well as put on a mask and a tank before going to explore the depths of the sea. For more information, go to the tourist office (Passeig Rafael Campalans, 10) or to www.turismetorredembarra.cat Festivities. From the end of October to the beginning of December, Torredembarra honors its gastronomic heritage, strongly marked by the traditions of fishermen, allowing you to taste all kinds of specialties in the fifteen restaurants of the city participating in the festival. Here are some of the dishes that are sure to be found on the menu of some of the restaurants in the city and the surrounding area, even during the rest of the year, such as bull, ranxets, canana and the famous xató.
