Lighthouse in Torredembarra, designed by the architect Josep Maria Llinas, which is now the highest lighthouse in Catalonia

This lighthouse is the latest to be built in Spain: inaugurated on January1, 2000, at exactly midnight (coinciding with the beginning of the new millennium) and designed by the architect Josep Maria Llinàs, it unfolds its 38 meters above the ground (58 meters above sea level) in an elegant and slender white silhouette surmounted by an octagonal screen in a very modern style. A small architectural masterpiece, it is now the highest lighthouse in Catalonia. Consult the tourist office if you wish to visit the interior.
