L'Arboç is a town of 5,000 inhabitants, which is pleasant to visit and has a rather surprising neo-Arabic style building called the Giralda, which is a little over a century old. L'Arboç is also famous for its great festival that takes place on the fourth Sunday of August, recognized as a "heritage festival of national interest" by the Catalan government. In fact, all the elements of local folklore are gathered here: dances, concerts, waltzes of the Giants, and demons released in the city. An unmissable event. For more information about the municipality, visit the tourist office (C/ Major, 37) and www.arbocenc.org
