This locality comprises two entities: the seaside resort of Sant Antoni, on the seafront, and the village of Calonge, some 4 km inland from the beaches. The former offers the classic pleasures of the coast - swimming, coastal paths... and the second for a visit to the historic center, home to Calonge Castle, one of the most important medieval fortresses in the Bas Empordà. This stopover will be the starting point for numerous hikes and bike rides to discover the Calonge plain, its wine-growing culture, the megalithic ruins of Puig Ses Forques or the Iberian deposits of Castell Barri.
