The commune of Palafrugell, birthplace of the famous Catalan journalist and writer Josep Pla, encompasses three former fishing quarters with a persistent charm: Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu. In the village of Calella in Palafrugell, the beautiful fishing houses along Port Bo beach have a picturesque charm that deserves a stopover. It is precisely on this beach that we celebrate, every first Saturday in July since 1967, the traditional "Cantada des Habaneras", nostalgic songs to the Creole rhythms that the navigators of the last century would sing. Here, no museums or monuments, but a beautiful natural setting to enjoy a few days of beach on the Costa Brava.
